Stark Tower.
Ye Li: "So, how is it?"
"These materials of yours….."
Tony tapped the table, musing, "The materials are very special. Some properties can't be analyzed for now. If you want to make them into a combat suit, it's doable. However, this might lead to some functional losses."
On the analyzer were several white threads, precisely the spider silk extracted from the Web of Destiny.
"Give me more time, maybe I can figure it out….."
Tony rubbed his forehead, muttering to himself, "I can do this… I can do this…"
Ye Li noticed something seemed off about him, "Tony?"
"I can do this….."
"Stark?"
"Stark!"
"Ah!"
Tony suddenly snapped out of it, "What's wrong with me?"
"You seem sick."
Strange, sitting on the sofa, shakily picked up a piece of cake from the table and stuffed it into his mouth, mumbling unclearly, "Not much better than me."
"I could already tell a bit earlier."
Ye Li nodded and said, "Tony, it seems like you're showing signs of anxiety."
"Anxiety? Me?"
Tony chuckled.
"Me, anxious? Ha? I'm Tony Stark. Iron Man. What could make me anxious?"
"Hmm, your suit isn't strong enough?"
Ye Li guessed.
"Because someone punched dozens of holes in it?"
"Alright, I'm not a professional psychologist. Maybe we should let J.A.R.V.I.S. test you."
"J.A.R.V.I.S., did you hear that?"
Stark gave the command.
"Run a check and shut them up. There's no way I have anxiety."
[Yes sir. Please step a bit closer…..]
[Beginning scan]
A blue light swept over Tony's body as J.A.R.V.I.S. gathered detailed physical data—
[Sir, you do indeed show signs of anxiety disorder]
Tony: "..."
"Tsk tsk~"
Ye Li crossed his arms and gently shook his head in sympathy, pointing at him from a distance with his left index finger.
"You should see a psychologist, Tony."
"It's just signs, nothing serious."
Tony didn't care much and continued tinkering, "I believe I'll be back to feeling great tomorrow."
Strange suddenly asked.
"How much sleep did you get last night?"
"Uh…"
Tony held up four fingers.
Strange: "Four hours? That's less than me."
Tony: "This lowered finger — one hour."
"..."
Strange was speechless.
"Do you have a death wish or something?"
"What's the big deal?"
Tony shrugged indifferently, "Einstein only slept three hours a year."
Strange: "..."
'What nonsense are you spouting…'
"Forget it, Tony's a grown man. He can handle himself."
Ye Li didn't want to worry about Iron Man's mental issues either. He pointed at the Web of Fate and said to Tony: "This isn't urgent. Take your time. Strange and I are going on a trip."
He figured the part Tony couldn't analyze was probably the magical properties of the Web of Fate.
This could be discussed with the Ancient One, and it was a good opportunity to take Strange to Nepal.
"What?"
Tony immediately got interested upon hearing this.
"Hey! You guys are going on a group trip and not inviting me to come along?"
"..."
Ye Li looked at Strange, "What kind of anxiety disorder is this?"
"Don't look at me."
Strange raised his hands, "I'm a neurologist, not a psychiatrist."
"Hmm…. I just thought of a treatment method."
A strand of blue current flicked from Ye Li's fingertip and hit Tony———Zzzzzz~
"Ugh ah….."
Tony trembled a bit, black smoke puffing from his mouth, "What was that?"
Ye Li asked, "Do you feel lighter, more relaxed?"
"No…. I feel even more anxious….."
Tony said that, but after shaking his head, he did feel his mind clear for a bit, "Maybe I do need to go out and relax a little..."
Ye Li nodded with satisfaction, "I think Miss Pepper would be very happy to spend a lovely time with you."
"NO."
Tony pointed at the two friends, "Aren't you two going on a trip? Take me along."
"...."
…..
Chinatown.
"Sis, what are we doing here?"
Mathilda held a skewer of candied hawthorn, occasionally sticking out her little tongue to lick it.
"Heh heh~ Now that I'm done with school, I finally have some time."
Jessica spoke mysteriously, "It's time for our detective agency to take on a high-profile case."
She wore a plaid coat, with a high collar and a wide hat covering most of her face.
"Our detective agency?"
Mathilda asked curiously, "Isn't the detective agency just you, Jessica? Who else is there?"
Jessica patted her little head, "Of course, it's you, Mathilda."
Mathilda: "Since when…?"
Jessica: "From now on, you're my assistant."
Mathilda murmured softly, "Oh…"
Soon.
Jessica led her sister to a grand, brightly decorated hotel.
"This is it. Our target."
At the hotel entrance stood several guards in black martial arts uniforms.
Seeing Jessica's hidden appearance, they stopped the sisters, "You two are…..?"
Jessica didn't reveal her face.
She pulled out a business card from her pocket and flashed it in front of the guards, who immediately stepped aside.
"Wow~"
Mathilda, seeing that they were let in so easily, admired her and said, "Jessica, is your detective agency really that famous?"
"Ahem… Of course!"
Jessica awkwardly put the card back in her pocket. It was a card Ye Li gave her… something like a "Chinese Mutual Aid Association" organization card…..
