Chapter 230 - Chapter 230 Registering

After six months of physical training, Law's physique had changed drastically. He now looks looked about fifteen or sixteen years old in both height and appearance.

However, Buhara's transformation was even more exaggerated. Not only had he grown past two meters in height, but he had also gained at least fifty kilograms. From a distance, he looked like an oversized, chubby bear.

Among the many competitors signing up, there were plenty of tall and burly individuals, so Buhara didn't stand out too much.

In the long queue of contestants, many people gave Buhara a glance before quickly looking away. Before a fight, physical appearance was often used as an initial measure of strength, and while Buhara warranted some attention, it's not enough to cause concern.

"Boss!"

Buhara rushed toward Law and immediately opened his arms to give him a bear hug.

"Just how much weight have you gained during this period of time?" Law pried open Buhara's arms, looking speechless.

Buhara answered honestly: "I haven't checked it."

After saying that, he looked at Sanbica and greeted her happily, then looked at Biscuit, whom he didn't recognize.

Seeing that Buhara looking at Biscuit, Law introduced her: "Her name is Biscuit, and she is my master."

After hearing Law's introduction, Buhara was utterly shocked. It's because Biscuit looked even younger than Law and Sanbica.

'She was actually Law's master?'

Buhara felt Law was very powerful, so wouldn't Biscuit be even more powerful since she could become Law's master!

With this in mind, Buhara frowned slightly.

Meanwhile, Biscuit was also looking at Strength was usually correlated with muscle, but despite his large frame, Buhara was covered in layers of fat. If he did have strength, it likely wasn't too impressive.

However, with her sharp eyes, Biscuit quickly noticed that beneath that thick layer of fat, Buhara actually possessed considerable strength.

"Big Sis!"

After pondering for a while, Buhara finally decided on an appropriate way to address Biscuit.

"Big Sis?" Law and Sanbica were stunned.

Biscuit's eyes twitched, but she maintained her smile, "Call me 'Sister'."

"Wouldn't it be a bit strange if I called you like that?" Buhara scratched his head.

Ten minutes later, Buhara followed behind Law and the others with a fresh bump on his head.

Law planned to stay in Heavens Arena for quite a while, at least until he defeated Atomu.

After hearing Law's plans, Buhara also wanted to register for the tournament. He lacked battle experience, and Heavens Arena was the perfect training ground.

They originally wanted to sign up immediately, but the registration line was far too long, so Law and the others decided to grab a meal first. That decision led to an extended food tour.

Restaurants filled the shopping malls and pedestrian streets around the arena, and Law's group ended up eating at one high-end establishment after another. The food in each restaurant was very good, satisfying enough for people who were used to eating high-quality ingredients. It was obvious that the chefs' skills were quite good.

With Buhara, a huge foodie, and the never-satisfied Black Cat, the meal took more than three hours and they went to fifteen high-end restaurants.

By the time they returned to Heavens Arena, the registration line had shrunk by half, so Law and Buhara joined the queue.

"Buhara, you eat even more than before." Sanbica said, staring at Buhara's stomach. At least fifty percent of today's feast had gone into Buhara's belly.

"Hehe." Buhara chuckled, rubbing his head. Ever since he awakened his Nen, his appetite had increased dramatically, and he never have to worry about his stomach being unable to hold enough food.

Law thought about the appetite Buhara showed today, 'If there weren't a lot of the 100 million Jenny given by Kenda left, Buhara would not be able to eat as much as he did.

Most of the surrounding restaurants served Western-style cuisine, which is expensive, but the dishes are delicate and the portions are not large. Buhara ate about 500 people's portions, and looking at him, he seemed to be only 70% full.

Biscuit was quite curious about how Buhara's stomach could hold so much food. She could only chalk it up to Buhara having an abnormal digestive system.

After waiting in line for almost half an hour, it was finally Law and Buhara's turn.

The two came to a registration window, and a cute girl with short hair handed them two registration forms and said with a smile: "Welcome to Heavens Arena! Please fill out your details here."

Law took the form and took a look at it. There wasn't much information to fill in, just name, gender, age, and the number of years of combat experience.

'My fighting experience is only less than two years, right?'

After a moment of thought, he wrote down two years for experience and put his age as sixteen. Since there was no ID verification, there was no need to be precise.

It took him less than a minute to fill out the form and hand it back to the short-haired girl at the window. Buhara also finished filling it out after a while and handed it to the girl.

The short-haired girl took the registration form, glanced at it, and started typing rapidly on the keyboard. It took her just ten seconds to enter the two's information into the computer. Then, she gestured to her right with a smile, "Please head that way."

Law looked in the direction of the short-haired girl, and saw a long corridor with a door at the end.

"Thank you."

After confirming the direction, Law habitually thanked the short-haired girl and walked towards the corridor on the right.

Buhara hurriedly followed, and although Sanbica and Biscuit did not sign up, they were able to follow them.

The short-haired girl looked at Law's departing back, and a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.

The next second, a sound came from the table in front of the window. It was a burly man who was impatiently slapping the table, urging her to hurry up.

The short-haired girl quickly picked up a registration form. Despite the burly man's rude attitude, she maintained her professional smile.

After passing through the corridor and stepping through the door, the group entered a massive room resembling a sports arena designed for competitions.

The entrance leads directly to the audience seats, and below are sixteen square arenas.

The entrance led directly to the spectator stands, while below, sixteen square-shaped fighting rings were occupied by contestants engaged in matches. Each ring had a referee dressed in the official Heavens Arena's uniform.

The air buzzed with noise, as shouts, cheers, and the sounds of combat echoing throughout the venue.

This was the lowest level of the Heavens Arena, which served as a preliminary selection ground.

Each match lasted three minutes, with winners advancing to higher floors and losers being eliminated. Since there are sixteen rings in the venue, that meant sixteen contestants were eliminated every three minutes.

"When it's your turn, finish it quickly and decisively." Biscuit glanced at the testosterone-fueled chaos, and saw that the men in the audience were shouting at the top of their lungs, enthusiastically cheering for strangers.

Most of the people in the stands were contestants themselves, as this was just the lowest preliminary stage, and no regular spectators would bother watching such low-level fights.

Hearing Biscuit's words, both Law and Buhara nodded.

The group found a place to sit down at random, but soon noticed that people around them kept looking at them, or to be more precise, at Biscuit and Sanbica.

The Heavens Arena is a fighter's paradise. Most of the contestants here are men, and there are very few female contestants. Therefore, the others who regard Biscuit and Sanbica as contestants will pay close attention to them.

Facing the gazes from their surroundings, Biscuit was reminded of her early days in the Heavens Arena. When she first came to the Heavens Arena, she was like an endangered species. She was constantly under scrutiny, and even subjected to crude remarks.

Female contestants were rare enough, and considering how adorable she was, it was no surprise she had attracted so much attention.

If she still had any desire to fight, Biscuit might have signed up just for fun and joined the competition with Law.
