Damian watched as Lillian turned around with an intense expression. "Can we talk?"
"Talk about what? There is nothing to talk about. I've already said I won't kill any more vampires unless they mess with me first," Damian said as if he didn't understand what more there could be to discuss, even though he knew exactly what they wanted.
But Damian wouldn't ask them about it or offer his help.
The Countess would have to plead for his help, and she had to be ready to grant him anything he desired.
Only then would the Human Progenitor consider helping them.
"This is important... Can we talk in private? We will explain everything to you... The Human King," Lillian Brenlith said as she slightly bowed her head.
Watching this, not just Damian, but even the four other Countesses were shocked.
They had never seen the strongest vampire bow to anyone before, and certainly not in front of a human, much less call him 'the Human King', as if accepting that Damian was someone above her.
