How could Winter ever find a way to forgive himself, not to talk of getting Blue to forgive him?
"I shouldn't have. I know that I shouldn't have. But I didn't want to lose you too…" Winter cried as he tried to explain himself.
Blue still didn't understand. "Lose me too? Winter, you better get your act together or get out. I am seriously not in the mood for whatever you think you're doing."
Blue's tone was still cold and detached. He couldn't let himself get weak like usual. He turned his head away once again, refusing to look at Winter.
The more he looked at those sincere green eyes and tear-stained cheeks, the more his hardened heart broke, melting into a puddle of forgiveness.
He couldn't afford to forgive Winter. Not after catching him directly in the act. No word from Winter was going to wear him down. No amount of tears, too.
