I believed I had heard Edward mutter 'shit' and 'fuck' about a thousand times from outside of the room as they finished casting off my ankle. He wasn't really being in boyfriend mode but more of a stressed out captain mode.
He had to call Coach and tell him what had happened and I could tell that made things ten times worse. "I don't know we'll have to prep Isaac. We only have today before we have to leave… I don't know if it will be enough time… no he seems fine. He said it was an accident… yes, yes I'll ensure it. Thank you Coach."
It was complete silence from there on out and I feared he had fainted from stress. However, a minute or two later he walked in, his face red and his eyes dark with stress.
