He shook his head before he stared back at me. "So hold on, you want me to believe that the she doesn't know that her father has been giving her ember dust?"


"I do believe it." I said and Nikolai scoffed again, "You weren't there Nikolai, there was this look in her eyes. She looked like she was being controlled, didn't listen to anyone else but her father, there was this crazed look in her eyes."


"She looked pretty crazy to me alright, but I am still not buying her ignorance." Nikolai said.


I shook my head at Nikolai, "No man, I'm telling you there is something different about her. I don't think she honestly knows about the drug. You saw the confusion in her eyes when you mentioned the drugs and she still didn't even get when you called it by its second name?"
