The carriage started to shake violently. Arrow piercing through the wooden frames of the carriage. A scream echoed as one successfully flew through the carriage and almost struck the princess. Luckily, Evelyn caught it before it could harm Abrielle.
"We are under attack!!" Axel screamed out the obvious as soon as he realized what was going on. He could sense the presence. They were not the sorcerers, they didn't have the ominous presence of the sorcerers.
"Bloody hell," the coachman screamed while trying his best to control the horses, but it was for nought. Evelyn had realized the situation already; she was confused about whether she should try to flee with the princess and wait in the carriage.
They had no idea how many were out there or how strong they were. Her priority was Abrielle's safety; although no one said it directly, she knew her master would release chaos if something happened to the princess.
