The Fourth Raikage swept his gaze over the ruins around him, his fury burning as he glared at Nagato.
The once-thriving village lay in utter devastation. Buildings and streets had been reduced to rubble, the air thick with smoke and the stench of blood. The ground was littered with shattered stones and broken wood, with flames still flickering among the wreckage, silently telling the story of the brutal battle that had just unfolded.
The Ten-Tails... It's the power of the Ten-Tails!
He could feel it without a doubt—Nagato was now host to the same overwhelming force he had sensed back in the virtual space.

Nagato cast a cold glance at the Raikage, showing no interest in conversation. Slowly, he raised his hand, gathering an immense chakra force. In an instant, the Two-Tails was ripped out of Yugito Nii's body.
"Yugito!" The Raikage's eyes widened in rage, but it was too late to stop it.
Without its tailed beast, Yugito collapsed lifelessly onto the ground, her breathing ceasing within moments.
"The Two-Tails has been retrieved," Nagato stated indifferently, as if he were merely completing a routine task.
The Raikage clenched his fists so tightly that his nails dug into his palms. He barely restrained himself from charging forward and instead growled into his communicator,
"Bee, is everything ready? Move now!"
Killer Bee's usual playful tone was absent as his cold voice came through the earpiece.
"All set."
A sharp light flashed in the Raikage's eyes.
"Everyone, attack! Keep him occupied!"
At his command, the remaining shinobi sprang into action. From the rubble, they leaped forth from all directions, launching a fierce assault on Nagato.
"Lariat!"
The Fourth Raikage led the charge, his entire body crackling with lightning as he transformed into a streak of light. With blinding speed, his lightning-coated arm formed a blade-like edge, slicing straight toward Nagato.
Nagato didn't even move. He merely lifted his hand and swung his fist.
The Raikage barely registered the afterimage before he was sent flying, smashing violently into a crumbling wall.
"Raikage-sama!!"
The surrounding shinobi roared in anger.
"Akatsuki! You're dead!"
"Lightning Release: Thunder Dragon Jutsu!"
A skilled jōnin swiftly formed hand seals, summoning a massive lightning dragon that crackled with energy, roaring as it lunged at Nagato.
Simultaneously, the other shinobi unleashed their jutsu.
"Lightning Release—"
"Water Release—"
"Fire Release—"
Over a hundred jutsu erupted in unison, the sky filled with streaks of lightning, surging torrents, and blazing fireballs. Different chakra elements intertwined, forming a cataclysmic storm of destruction aimed at Nagato.
But Nagato only snorted coldly, extending his arms outward.
"Futile resistance… Shinra Tensei!"
A devastating repulsive force exploded outward from his body, sweeping across the battlefield like a tidal wave. The air twisted under the pressure, the ground cracked apart, and debris was sent flying in all directions.
"BOOM!"
Every jutsu that had been launched was instantly repelled. Lightning was torn apart, water dragons disintegrated, and fireballs were snuffed out as if they had never existed.
From the wreckage, the Raikage staggered to his feet, his voice booming,
"Bee, now!"
"Scatter Chakra Cannon—Fire!"
A blinding light suddenly erupted from the horizon, as if a second sun had descended upon the land. A colossal energy beam tore through the sky, aimed directly at Nagato with world-shattering force.
As it neared its target, the beam split into hundreds of smaller rays, each curving through the air in precise trajectories. Each individual beam carried enough power to level a mountain, converging on Nagato from every direction.
"Hmm?"
For the first time, Nagato's expression shifted.
"BOOM!"
The Chakra Cannon's beams struck, detonating on impact. The resulting explosion sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield, shaking the ground violently. Debris and rubble were blasted into the air, and a crater thousands of meters deep formed in an instant.
"Did it work?!"
The shinobi held their breath, eyes locked onto the center of the blast.
But as the smoke began to clear, Nagato's figure emerged—completely unscathed.
"Impossible!"
"The Chakra Cannon had no effect?!"
"Even if we didn't fire it at full power, this outcome makes no sense!"
They were stunned.
This was the Scatter Chakra Cannon—Kumogakure's ultimate weapon. A beam of pure chakra capable of obliterating an entire nation, theoretically even powerful enough to destroy the moon.
Even though they had held back some of its full force due to firing within the village, its power should have been devastating.
Yet Nagato hovered above the vast crater, untouched.
The Raikage's gaze locked onto the black orbs floating around Nagato—Truth-Seeking Balls.
His heart sank. Even the Chakra Cannon was useless… Is there any way for us to win?
Nagato remained suspended in the air, looking down at the despairing Kumogakure shinobi.
"In terms of sheer destructive capability, I admit your weapon exceeded my expectations. It even managed to injure me."
Internally, he knew the truth.
He had taken damage. He simply regenerated too quickly for it to be visible.
Purely in terms of destructive force, the Scatter Chakra Cannon might rival even the Ten-Tails' Tailed Beast Bomb. And Kumogakure had restricted its output?
This might be the most terrifying weapon in the ninja world right now… Truly worthy of the Land of Lightning.
Nagato pondered this in silence but maintained his icy demeanor.
"As a courtesy, let me show you the power of the Ten-Tails in return."
He extended his palm.
A massive Tailed Beast Bomb, over a hundred meters in diameter, began to form above him. The swirling black chakra coalesced into an orb that exuded sheer annihilation.
"That's—A Tailed Beast Bomb?!"
The Raikage's pupils contracted in shock.
He had seen the Eight-Tails use a Tailed Beast Bomb before, but the one forming in front of him was on an entirely different scale.
"This is the end for you, Raikage—"
Before Nagato could fire, two figures appeared in a flash of Heavenly Transfer Jutsu, standing between him and the Raikage.
"Yo, your target is me, right? Then let's not waste time."
"Bee! What the hell are you—"
Ignoring his brother's protests, Killer Bee stared directly at Nagato.
"If you wanna catch me, you better hurry. Hyuga Fuji might be on his way. Leave the village, and I'll go with you. Mabui!"
Beside him, Mabui raised two fingers. "Heavenly Transfer Jutsu!"
A radiant white light enveloped Killer Bee, teleporting him hundreds of miles away.
Nagato's crimson Rinnegan eyes snapped toward Mabui.
Though drained of chakra, she met his gaze calmly.
"He's at the Land of Lightning's border, where the Land of Snow's forces are stationed."
Nagato glanced at the still-forming Tailed Beast Bomb, then back at Mabui.
"Send me there," he ordered.
Mabui nodded. "I need some tailed beast chakra."
Nagato dissipated the deadly energy in his palm, landed, and provided her with the chakra she needed. Moments later, he vanished in a flash of light.
