A tropical island, mostly covered with palm trees, other tropical plants, and exposed rocks, with occasional drizzles. The further south you go, the higher the terrain, inhabited by various monsters, providing natural protection for the pirates living on the island.
This is Moon Bay, with the crescent-shaped island's curve being Pirate City, a notorious criminal haven, an extremely dangerous place, where drunken pirates cause disturbances every hour, brawls and duels are commonplace.
The narrow and winding streets are full of taverns, currently echoing with noisy laughter, singing, and the clinking of cups. It's the second floor of a relatively quieter tavern, where two obviously unusual pirates are meeting.
If Leon were here, he would surely recognize the pirate wearing the captain's hat; it's the Undead Admiral who once visited him on Volcanic Island, gifting him a golden cat with ruby eyes, seeking to cooperate in taking down Watchtower Port.
