Bai Fu insisted on bringing a group of players along with her for two main reasons.
The first reason was she hoped the players would continue to promote her on video websites and in the community, so she could always maintain a high level of exposure. She didn't want to disappear like other characters in the game: forgotten after the gacha, event ended, or their exclusive story was over, to be overtaken by other female NPCs.
The second reason was, quite simply, because players were very useful, especially those who had gone through three versions of her development and had come to resemble her; they were even more useful.
Carrying bricks, serving as meat shields, making up the numbers, exploring unknown areas...
The ways to utilize players were endless.
Even if she was in a bad mood, seeing the group of players who often shouted "Conscientious Fufu" while looking at her with eager eyes, Bai Fu's mood would naturally improve.
