The peril of this assassination attempt had far surpassed Anos's imagination.
Earth Spikes kept surging from the ground, as Anos clambered up from the terrain in disarray, darting left and dodging right to continuously evade the successive attacks.
But, evidently, the assassin would not let Anos off so easily. The ground beneath her shifted and cracked at the very spots where she maneuvered, intent on tripping up the agile Princess.
Anos kept her eyes fixed on the bushes, though somewhat weary from the onslaught, she was only caught off guard because the attack was sudden. As long as she remained calm and found the right moment, she could still take the assassin's life.
Just as Anos was contemplating her next move, another unexpected incident occurred.
