The stage for the train station's grand building music concert was set up in the plaza at the middle of the grand staircase, where the audience would sit on the steps to enjoy the performance.
Dubian Che got off the train and was startled by the throngs of people on the stairs.
Among them, one could see groups of elementary and middle school students; perhaps they had been brought specially by their schools to appreciate the performances of distinguished schools.
Many of the spectators were just passing by and had stopped to watch, drawn in by the music.
