Ayane was delighted, saying that she had once again done something meaningful.
"Why can you still smile, Ayane?" Manaka puzzled, "I try so hard just not to cry every day."
"Because I'm a Void Phase Mage, Little Manaka!" Ayane smiled, "I feel that helping others is a great thing, so I'm very happy if I can help everyone a bit. I don't value many things, so I'm not afraid of the instructors' punishment!"

In the small laboratory, Ayane was everyone's hero. She encouraged everyone not to take their own lives, talked with them, and sang meaningful nursery rhymes. More than once, Manaka thought that if it weren't for Ayane, they would probably all be dead by now.
