The sight not only left Ryuk surprised but even his lips twitching as looked beneath himself—and saw a gaping maw filled with nightmarish eyes and massive fangs dripping with dark venom opening right below.
He was rapidly soaring downward, wind whipping past his body with intense speed.
"Talk about a horror welcome," he muttered to himself as he descended into the gut of the monstrous creature.
The beast instinctively snapped its maw shut with a thunderous ripple that echoed through the entire area.
But a second had barely passed before the creature's head began to swell unnaturally, inflating like a balloon, as if its head was being pumped filled with air and then—
BUUUUUUUUUURRRSSSTTTT!
Brain matter, dark blood, and slime exploded outward in all directions, followed by an eerie, ear-piercing, mournful shriek that was quickly cut off.
The creature's massive body plummeted downward with a powerful crash.
