Chapter 352 - Chapter 352: Charlotte Linlin vs. Red Count (Part 2)

Chapter 352: Charlotte Linlin vs. Red Count (Part 2)

Charlotte took note of this debt.

Regarding the changes happening at Karmei Island in the New World, Charlotte had already prepared for the worst. If things truly went south, he would organize an evacuation.

Once he returned to the New World, he would make a final decision.

But with the sudden appearance of the Red Count, Charlotte felt completely at ease.

Even if he didn't understand why the man was doing this, Charlotte still made a mental note of the favor.

"Another debt owed…"

He used to think owing favors was nothing to worry about. But now, it felt incredibly troublesome.

He already owed Shiki a big favor—now the Red Count too?

When would he ever repay all these?

Thinking of this, Charlotte sighed, slumping back on the couch and rubbing his temples.

"Captain, are we really not going back to the New World?"

Barrett looked out at the crew members he had personally trained—many of whom had fallen in battle—and couldn't accept standing idly by.

"We don't need to. Our journey isn't over. Everything in the New World has already been arranged. Don't worry too much."

Charlotte understood Barrett's feelings. He waved his hand gently, signaling him to calm down.

Hearing this, Barrett could only suppress the urge to return and clenched his fists.

His eyes burned with killing intent when he glanced toward the Big Mom Pirates.

New World — Three days after the battle began.

It had been three days since the battle between Charlotte Linlin and the Red Count began.

The children under Linlin's command were also fiercely battling Carter's forces.

Both sides were utterly exhausted.

Especially Carter's side—they'd suffered heavy losses.

Aside from a few top officers, most of their six-thousand-strong force had fallen.

Some were dead, others unconscious from severe wounds.

Still others had been knocked out cold by the Conqueror's Haki unleashed during the clash between Linlin and the Red Count.

Only around a hundred people remained standing at the port.

They hadn't taken a single step back.

The two giants were utterly drained, slumped to the ground, but still swung their weapons fiercely to keep the enemy at bay.

"Quick! Capture these two giants! Mama will definitely love them!"

Perospero looked excitedly at the exhausted giants.

They hadn't forgotten their mother's dream.

Their Totto Land still had no giants.

To think they'd found two of them here on Karmei Island!

"Don't hurt them!" Perospero commanded his troops.

"Brother, what are these guys trying to do?"

Will asked, watching the enemy swarm them fearlessly.

"They want to capture us as slaves. We can't let that happen!"

House growled.

"What?! Enslaving the mighty Giant Tribe?! Giants will never be slaves! Roar!"

Will roared in fury, lifting his spiked club once again and slamming it down.

Perospero barely dodged.

But his underlings weren't so lucky.

They were instantly crushed into pulp.

"Damn it! We can't break through their defenses. And we can't even handle two giants! Mama's going to be furious…"

Perospero muttered bitterly.

"Katakuri, how are things on your end?"

Perospero retreated and turned to his brother, who was protecting their siblings.

"Brother Perospero… The enemy is too strong. We can't break through."

Katakuri shook his head, frustrated.

He couldn't do anything against that centaur-like warrior or the two swordmasters on the other side.

This wasn't the future Katakuri.

He was still young, and his strength hadn't matured.

Right now, all he could do was protect his younger siblings.

"Mama is still fighting. We can't hold her back!"

Perospero's eyes turned toward the battlefield, where Linlin was still locked in combat with the Red Count, Patrick Redfield.

Neither side was giving an inch.

"Sigh… It's our fault. We're just too weak."

Perospero clenched his fists.

Katakuri did the same, silently swearing to grow stronger.

In the center of the battlefield...

Charlotte Linlin was slipping into a berserk state.

She seemed to have lost her mind, relying purely on instinct as she attacked the Red Count in a frenzied rage.

And the Red Count wasn't looking good either.

His previous elegance and grace had long since vanished.

His clothes were in tatters. He was breathing heavily. That aristocratic poise was completely gone.

He said nothing—only stared intensely at Linlin, trying to find a weak spot.

And once again, his mind-reading ability left him speechless.

Why… why was this woman thinking about cake during a life-or-death battle?!

This was the first time Redfield felt so helpless and speechless during a fight.

A battle should involve strategies, counters, and death moves…

Why was she only thinking about sweets?

Confused and frustrated, Redfield channeled his rage into his attacks.

Even Linlin's steel-ball-like physique began to show signs of wear.

Redfield's sword strikes tore open wound after wound on her massive body.

Gradually, he regained control over the battlefield.

"Not good! Mama's in danger!"

Katakuri shouted, watching closely.

"How…?"

Perospero was stunned.

But before he could finish his sentence—

BOOM!

The Red Count spun his umbrella and unleashed a slash infused with Conqueror's Haki, slicing directly across Linlin's chest.

A shower of blood erupted.

Charlotte Linlin was sent flying.

"Uuugh! Aaah! Mamamamama! Cake! I want cake! I want cake!"

As she cried out deliriously, an overwhelming wave of Conqueror's Haki surged from her.

Powerful spiritual pressure exploded outward.

Her terrifying shriek caused many around her to tremble with fear.

And then—something horrifying happened.

Wispy spirit-like energies floated from the terrified troops and were sucked into Linlin's body.

Prometheus, Zeus, and Napoleon, who had all weakened earlier, were suddenly revitalized by the surge of soul energy.

Even the wounds on Linlin's body began to heal at a visible rate.

"Crap! It's Soul Song! Cover your ears!"

Perospero shouted in panic.

As her eldest son, he was all too familiar with this terrifying phenomenon.

"I'm so hungry! I want sweets!"

Linlin, now moving purely on instinct, stood back up.

Her eyes were bloodshot. Drool dripped from the corner of her mouth as she stared at everything around her with wild hunger.

The Red Count stared in disbelief.

"What the hell… is this monster?"

He muttered.

Before he could react—

The Big Mom Pirates were already moving.

"Quick! Bring out the cake! Lure Mama away! This is no longer worth it—we must stop this senseless fight!"
