Hikari was amazed by the place she'd arrived at. It was a large red shrine, and tori gates surrounded it on all sides, standing above the entrances of the mountain. There were large stairs leading down each side, and the emblems of serpents covered the thing all over.
The moment Ayase landed and dismounted the dragon, snakes came from all over to greet her. There were many of varying sizes, but the largest was gigantic. It's body was at least as long as Kurayami's while being exceptionally girthy as well.
"Lady Ayassse, who're these people?" The snake asked.
"These are all my new friends." She pointed towards Hikari. "And that one is my lover."
"Lady Hikari, then?" The snake asked.
"Yes!"
"Congratulations."
Another witch came from the same temple. It was the same one that Hikari had seen a few times already. The girl who'd been mentored by Ayase in the ways of witch craft.
"Master Ayase, you really did it. The two of you seem extra close now."
