Everyone was shocked as the screen kept flickering, showing more of the past as time passed. Indra and Ashura had now reached a turning point. Hagoromo looked at both of them seriously.
Then, the screen showed Hagoromo giving them a test. He sent Indra and Ashura to two separate villages—each on opposite sides. Both villages were suffering because of a disease caused by the remains of the Ten-Tails' Divine Tree.
Whoever could solve the problem would be chosen as Hagoromo's successor.
Yeah, this was all part of Hagoromo's plan.
But deep down, he already knew the outcome. Ashura would win.
Why?
Because Ashura was like him. A bit clumsy… but full of heart.
The viewers saw how Ashura arrived first… and Indra came second. Then they noticed something strange. In Indra's village, his three teammates were hurt. And Indra… he was doing everything by himself. People were confused.
Why wasn't he letting his team help?
That's when Indra spoke up:
"If I let them help, they'll suffer more. These Divine Tree roots are sucking chakra from people. If I involve the villagers, they'll get even weaker. And if I waste time healing them again and again, we'll lose more people. So… it's better if I do this alone."
Hearing this, the people watching started to understand.
They saw how smart and careful Indra really was.
He started cutting away the corrupted parts of the Divine Tree, handling it all on his own.
People were shocked. They never knew he had reasons like that.
But the one most surprised… was Kanna Ōtsutsuki—Ashura's wife.
She began to wonder:
Was my mother suffering because of this? Was Ashura hiding something too? Was he… just showing off?
Then the screen shifted to Ashura. He had just arrived at the village and started to check out the situation. He walked toward the Divine Tree and instantly sensed it—it was absorbing chakra from the villagers.
A small smirk appeared on his face.
Everyone watching noticed it… and they were confused, even shocked.
But what they saw next… shocked them even more.
Even after knowing that the tree was draining chakra from the people, Ashura still made the villagers work with him. And whenever someone collapsed or got too weak, he healed them. Over and over. He showed them,
"Don't worry, I got you."
He acted like their savior—someone they could fully depend on.
Slowly… he made them all trust him.
And then, that's when something else happened.
Kanna—yes, that Kanna—started falling for him. Her eyes softened as she watched Ashura smile and help everyone.
But what no one expected was this:
Ashura was actually letting people get sick again… so he could heal them again.
Over and over.
Yeah… that's how he made them fully depend on him.
And after all that… he finally destroyed the Divine Tree using his Ninshū—also known as spiritual chakra techniques. (Not Ninjutsu—Ninshū is about connecting hearts and healing. It's what Hagoromo taught first.)
People thought they had all worked together as a team and overcome death.
They were happy… they believed in him.
Then the scene showed something else:
Kanna—yes, —was now part of Hagoromo's village.
She had already married Ashura in her own village as a way to thank him.
And before all this?
Yeah… the screen showed Indra had arrived first.
He came early, alone. He had sent his three teammates back.
He didn't want anyone else to suffer.
And now… while Indra stayed quiet, Ashura stood there, married to Kanna, praised by the villagers.
Everyone was completely shocked. Especially the hundred people who followed Ashura—people from Kanna Ōtsutsuki's village. Now, since she married Ashura, she had taken the name "Ōtsutsuki" too.
Kanna looked broken. Her whole world was falling apart right in front of her eyes. Her marriage, her love, her dreams… all of it felt like a lie. She had believed in Ashura. She saw him healing her people, healing her mother and father again and again. She thought he was their savior.
But now… she saw the truth.
He could've done all that by himself. That girl who died? That whole act was just a manipulation. He made everyone suffer just to look like a hero. And now... Kanna realized her life, her love... it was all fake. Her heart shattered.
The people from her village, the ones who came with her... they were also in shock. Their eyes were full of disbelief. All of them looked at Ashura, who wasn't even showing guilt. He was just staring blankly at the screen. Like… it didn't matter.
Even more shocked were Hinami and Hitomi—the Two Woman who had just married Ashura and bearing his child.
They thought their former husbands, Kagami and Igami, had betrayed them and killed innocents with Indra. But now... they were questioning everything.
Were they wrong the whole time? Were Kagami and Igami actually innocent?
A..and they were hurting there Children
That same fear—same regret—burned in their hearts.
Their world was falling apart too.
All eyes turned to the screen.
Hagoromo and Ashura were both looking down. The pressure from the Zetsu and truth was crushing them. They couldn't even raise their heads. They just listened in silence.
The screen showed Hagoromo stepping out. He smiled and said he'd announce the results tomorrow. Ashura had finally arrived. Hagoromo even congratulated Ashura and Kanna on their marriage.
People clapped. They cheered. But behind that smile…
Hagoromo sat alone, his fists clenched tight. He had absorbed Hamura, but still... he couldn't achieve eternal youth. Not even of the mind.
"I wanted to give my power to Indra," he muttered quietly. "He's the right one. He feels more than I do… even if he hides it."
"But Ashura… Ashura is just like me."
Hagoromo looked to the side, remembering someone dear.
"…Forgive me, Haruka," he whispered, thinking about his late wife. "I had no choice."
"I chose Ashura… because these humans gave me faith chakra. And after I die of old age, that chakra will bring me back. I'll live again… as chakra itself."
"But for that… they need to remember me. At least for 100 years. So I need Ashura to be my light. I know he'll use my Name… my Fame… to make people follow him."
"At least I'll be remembered."
He sighed.
"Indra… he doesn't need anyone's praise. He does everything on his own and peope will forget me . People will realize the truth later—thanks to Ninshu. They'll understand his heart."
Then Hagoromo clenched his fist even tighter.
He knew... he couldn't manipulate Indra anymore.
Because Indra didn't use Ninshu to control people. He rejected that power. Instead, he made his own version—Ninjutsu. A technique that didn't manipulate hearts, but gave people freedom.
That's why Hagoromo failed.
He couldn't control Indra's will. Not anymore.
Everyone was there Shocked—
well, except Indra.
Indra had , looking after the sleeping children of his late friends, Kagami and Igami. He had gently put them to sleep. Why? Because he didn't want them to see something like this. This kind of pain… this kind of truth… wasn't something kids should see.
The others were there though who were not Shocked . Gamamaru sat on his throne, watching everything quietly. Kaguya sat like a frozen goddess, her expression unreadable. Jibraeel sat on the throne by her side, eyes narrowed,
The people who followed the Sage of the Six Paths—Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki—were horrified.
They had always believed in him. To them, he was more than a leader. He was a god.
But now... now they didn't know what to believe.
Kanna Ōtsutsuki was completely shattered. Her heart had already been broken… but now the respect, the sanity, the faith she held for Hagoromo? That was gone too. She couldn't believe this was the man she trusted—the one she thought was the symbol of peace.
But the ones who were hurt the most… were Hinami and Hitomi.
They had always told themselves, Even if Ashura turns out to be wrong… Hagoromo will still be right.
They had believed in him with their whole hearts.
To them… he was God.
Now, that belief was falling apart, piece by piece.
The next day came. Everyone gathered, watching as Hagoromo stood tall.
And then… he made his choice.
He chose Ashura as his successor.
The crowd cheered and celebrated. People clapped, smiled, and praised Ashura like he was a hero.
Indra was also there. Calm. Silent. He didn't show a single emotion. But he walked over to Ashura and said softly,
"Congratulations… little brother."
Then Indra turned and left, walking back to his room for meditation.
Everyone saw Ashura clench his hands tightly while people kept praising him.
Later, when no one was around, Ashura walked outside alone… but his face was twisted in anger.
He muttered under his breath,
"Why…? I'm the leader now. I'm the chosen one… So why didn't Indra call me 'Ashura-sama' in front of everyone?"
His fists shook. His teeth clenched.
The crowd watching the screen gasped.
Especially Kamina Ōtsutsuki. She had always suspected something was off.
But hearing Ashura say that… it confirmed everything.
Her body gave up. She fainted right there.
No one even caught her.
Why?
Because everyone was too shocked.
Too frozen by what they just heard.
They didn't even notice her fall.
Then, the screen kept going.
Ashura suddenly stopped walking.
An evil smirk crept onto his face.
"Good…" he whispered.
As he closed his eyes, a dark aura formed behind him. The Truth-Seeking Orbs floated around his back.
He had fully received Hagoromo's power now.
Then… he sensed something.
Indra.
Alone in the forest. Meditating.
Ashura opened his eyes and walked silently.
He reached the hallway outside Indra's room.
There… he met Kagami and Igami—Indra's trusted friends.
They smiled and bowed, "Ashura-sama, what brings you here? Indra-sama has gone to meditate in the forest."
"Yes Ashura Sama he was there a minute ago but left to Meditate in Forest"repiled Igami with polite voice
Ashura didn't reply.
Then suddenly—
"OOF!"
"KACHACK!"
His hand, crackling with lightning chakra, pierced straight through both of their hearts.
Blood spilled.
Kagami and Igami collapsed to the ground, their eyes wide with shock.
From behind, Hitomi and Hinami saw everything.
"NOOO!" they screamed in horror.
Their worst nightmare… it was true.
As they started to curse themself for falling this trick...
"Killing innocents? That was a lie. Their husbands… they were innocent. And We believed lies… married the person who killed our Husband And now, We are even carrying its children. and Was about to kill your own Children W....w...with a smile on our face."
Both women collapsed , unconscious.this truth was too much for them and The truth crushed them.
Everyone kept watching the scene on the screen, frozen in horror.
They saw everything—how Ashura manipulated people, twisted the truth, and made them believe lies.
Then… Indra appeared. His eyes widened in shock when he saw his friends—Kagami and Igami—lying dead.
That's when it happened.
His Mangekyou Sharingan awakened. which confused other's becoz they don't now what it was but haforomo recognised it.
As for Indra they Saw He couldn't take it anymore. He ran. Ran away with rage and pain, until he reached Kaguya, Jibrael, Zetsu, and Gamamaru.
The scene shifted again.
In the heart of the Ōtsutsuki compound, Ashura was now convincing everyone that Kagami, Igami—and even Indra—were murderers who had killed innocent people.
He lied again, saying they were traitors.
And then… he married Hitomi and Hinami, right in front of everyone.
The same women who once loved their husbands were now standing beside Ashura… smiling.
They looked disgusted at their past, as if Kagami and Igami meant nothing.
But it didn't stop there.
Ashura told the people, "Their children will turn out the same… So, we must purify them."
And the people believed him.
They actually agreed to it—without knowing what they were about to do.
The crowd watching the screen couldn't believe it.
Pure horror.
Then… the screen showed Indra again.
He appeared suddenly—his face filled with rage—and slashed Ashura's hand.
Right after that, the screen went black.
And then…
Jibrael stood up from his throne as his face was grim as he know what was about to happened.
His voice echoed in the hall:
"Now… you've seen the truth."
Suddenly—"Ah… ah… ah!"
The civilians—all the followers of Hagoromo—started screaming.
Their chakra… it was being pulled out of them!
It gathered right into Hagoromo's hand as he absorbed it.
He was still kneeling on the ground, crushed by the pressure. But he did it anyway. He pulled the energy of their belief, their faith—everything. It was just enough… to make him strong again. Ashura looked at his father, stunned. Even under all this pressure, he was still fighting back. Then Ashura's eyes shifted to Indra.
He clenched his fists.
He knew this wasn't over.
They still had a plan:
If they could kill Jibrael, seal Kaguya, Gamamaru, and that red-haired Zetsu, They could rewrite the memories of all these people.
As for Indra?
Ashura wasn't scared.
Why?
Because He still hadn't used the Six Paths Sage Mode that Hagoromo his Father gave him.
Ashura smirked. He believed he could win this.
He stood up, pushing through the pressure with pure will. The Six Paths Senjutsu Mode activated behind him.
Then—
Everyone Stopped screamed.
And fell unconscious.
But they weren't dead. Their chakra wasn't fully stolen. Just their chakra reserves—like a Jonin-level person having their full battle energy drained. There was still enough chakra left in them to live. They'd be able to recharge it over time.
They'd recover.
But right now? They were out cold.
After seeing all of this, Jibrael let out a sigh.
He raised his hand, and—whoosh!—a powerful barrier surrounded everyonepresent in there . Inside it, the people slowly began to heal.
Seeing this, Indra looked over at Jibrael, As Indra was calmly sitting on his throne.
Right beside him were the children of Kagami and Igami, still asleep.
Indra had put them to sleep earlier—he didn't want them to witness any of this chaos or feel the pain of the truth.
Then Indra stood up, his voice calm but firm:
"I'll fight Ashura."
Jibrael nodded.
Without saying another word, Indra started walking straight toward Ashura.
Ashura had already healed himself using Six Paths Sage Mode and was looking at Indra thinking he will Win and radiating power. And He looked around like he owned everything.
Indra stepped forward, glanced at the people inside the barrier—still unconscious, still recovering.
He clenched his fist.
Boom!
Indra punched Ashura hard.
So hard that Ashura flew out of the Ōtsutsuki compound, crashing through walls, trees, and stones.
Indra didn't want to fight in the compound.
Neither did he want to danger this place becoz in this place he Grew Up
Hagoromo stood too, now using the combined powers of his brother Hamura, the Bijū's chakra, and Nature Energy gathered for Senjutsu.
He activated one of his strongest techniques—Ryakugan, a forbidden ability that boosts his power ten times.
But as he turned to face Jibrael—
CRACK!
Zetsu appeared out of nowhere and punched Hagoromo straight in the chest.
BOOM!
The force embedded Hagoromo deep into the ground, creating a massive crater right inside the compound.
Dust exploded everywhere.
He was buried halfway into the ground, stuck in the center of the crater.
Hagoromo used all his power to block the punch, Which Worked .
He glared at Zetsu—then launched a punch straight at him.
Zetsu moved back just a little, caught himself mid-air, and smirked.
Yeah… he was going way too easy on Hagoromo.
From the throne, Kaguya, Gamamaru, and Jibrael watched silently.
There was tension in the air.
Hagoromo turned his eyes toward his mother.
He knew he could seal her if needed… but right now, the biggest threat wasn't her.
It was Jibrael. So, Hagoromo decided to handle Zetsu first. He pushed his power to the limit, trying to bind Zasu with chakra chains made up of truth Seeking Orbs while attacking.
But no matter what he did—Zetsu didn't budge.
Then Hagoromo whispered softly:
"Dragon of the Souls…"
He used his Rinnegan technique—summoning a spectral dragon made of soul energy, designed to rip the soul straight out of the body.
The glowing dragon charged at Zetsu.
But right before it hit—
Whoosh!
Zetsu raised his hand and covered it with pure nature energy, then slashed through the dragon in one clean motion.
The dragon vanished—gone—like it never existed.
Hagoromo's eyes widened.
"What!? He canceled my Rinnegan soul technique… just like that?"
He couldn't believe it.
But he kept going.
"Almighty Push!" he yelled, sending a shockwave forward.
But it didn't reach the barrier.
Jibrael, Kaguya, and Gamamaru didn't even flinch.
Meanwhile, the people inside the barrier—the ones who were waking up after losing their chakra—began to watch the battle. And when they saw Hagoromo, their eyes filled with hate.
He used to be their god.
Now he looked desperate.
Hagoromo tried harder, fighting with everything he had—but Zetsu just looked bored.
Zasu smirked and said:
"Tch. What a joke. You're supposed to be the Sage of Six Paths?"
"I didn't even need to use my Ryakugan yet." Then he added, with a mocking tone:
"Want me to show you how to really use your powers?"
He suddenly teleported right in front of Hagoromo—like a flash of thunder.
"This… is a real Almighty Push!"
BOOM!
With one blast from his palm, Zetsu smashed Hagoromo so hard he flew through several mountains, turning them into dust.
The ground shook. The sky cracked. The power was unreal.
Everyone—especially those betrayed by Hagoromo—just stared, mouths wide open.
They had seen Hagoromo take down the Ten-Tails.(Old fllower of his When he Defeat Kagya and Seal Her)
But this?
This was different.
This was true power.
And it came from just one TOUCH.
As The fight between Hagoromo and Zetsu was still going on, but now the scene shifted to Indra and Ashura.
Ashura coughed, wiping a bit of blood from his lips. That punch from Indra earlier had really hit hard—even though he healed instantly, the impact still shook him. He glared at Indra with pure hatred.
Everything was going fine. He was finally getting what he wanted—respect, love, and praise from everyone. And then Indra came and ruined it all.
Ashura's eyes burned. "You always stood in my way…"
Indra stared back, and his anger was even stronger.
"You killed Kagami and Igami. Took their wives make them carry your Child. Lied to everyone. You even made them kill their own kids. You twisted everything, Ashura," Indra said, his voice calm but filled with rage.
Ashura scoffed. "So what? Yeah, I did all that. I did what was best for me. They were too loyal to you. As long as they were around, I could never truly win. And you—" he pointed at Indra, "—you never once treated me like your superior! and those women gave them self to me happily though i manupulate hem well...IT DOES NOT MATTER"
Indra smirked coldly. "MATTER hUH And why would I Respect You ? You'll always be my little brother. That's all.and Respect is Earned not GIVEN"
In a flash, Indra disappeared—and reappeared right in front of Ashura. Ashura quickly raised a wooden dome to defend himself using his Wood Release, but—
CRACK!
Indra's fist smashed right through it like it was paper.
BOOM!
The punch connected straight to Ashura's cheek, sending him flying at least 50 meters through the compound, crashing into the wall with a loud thud.
Dust flew everywhere. The ground cracked. People inside the barrier watched in complete silence, eyes wide.
Ashura slowly got up, his face twisted with fury.
Everyone could see the fight clearly. Jibrael had used his power to project the battle like a live scene in the sky, showing everything happening between Indra and Ashura . He sat on the throne with Kaguya and Gamamaru, silently watching. The people who were knocked out before—due to the chakra absorption—had also started waking up one by one. Some were now watching everything with wide, confused eyes and Some Watching Fight Between Hagoromo and Zetsu infront of them.
