(If you reached 50th) Hello.
It's me — Valerian, the writer of Reincarnated as Selim III.First of all, I want to thank all of you — readers, commenters, and quiet lurkers alike. Your support, reactions, and wild theories have meant more than I can say. It's been almost 8 months since this journey began, and every step has been worth it.
Some of you have messaged me directly, offering ideas, diplomatic directions, or historical notes (yes, I saw the Qajar and Poland comments!). I appreciate them all.
A special thanks to these consistent contributors: Ayurbarwada, HRN_Dreadnought, DaoistxL6bKL, Helion_Of_marq, Yang_Aiwen, darkman495 and KaiserRayane. Your insight keeps me sharp. And forgive me if I missed the names.
To be honest, reading your comments might be my favorite part of the whole process. It's surreal to know people care this much about a fictional Ottoman timeline.
On scheduling: updates will now come monthly. Some of you already noticed the pattern, but here's the reason — I've started a new job as a salesman (yeah, it's been a ride). So time's tighter, but I'm still here, writing.
As for publishing — yes, I submitted this story early for contract consideration. And yes, I got rejected. My mistake. Still, I'm continuing. Why? Because it's fun. Because it's mine. Because history deserves reimagining.
The Ottoman Empire had immense potential — I've realized that through books, lectures, and late-night YouTube spirals. But like all empires, its survival came with harsh costs. Still, that tension? That complexity? That's where the real stories live.
And last from me, there also some missaccuracy when it comes to historical knowledge especially the cultures and the norms. So yeah, sorry on that.
Thanks again for walking this road with me. I'll keep writing. You keep reading.
