It's been two days since Ella met Liam and Cobby. Initially they were hesitant to share the information or hand over the clues but her persistence won them over. Together they started gathering evidences and following leads.
One day while Ms.Miller dragged Ella out for some fresh air, Ella asked Ms.Miller, "Do you not fear at the possibility of what might be ahead of this for Shara?", to which she smiled softly and replied "The world feels vast, a place of unknown harms but a mother should respect her child's choices and not let her antiquated ideas get in the way of their happiness. I'm afraid but fear means something's important to you." and patted Ella's head. Then silence fell, as they strolled through the garden, Ella thought to herself as she gazed the sky," Ah..... l found the missing piece of light of my careless youth."
Days passed and Cobby finally uncovered a major lead with his hacking skills, exposing the cartel's leader and their organisation. Sion helps them gather evidence and they are one step closer to bringing the peddlers to justice. As they work together, Sion finds himself drawn to Ella. He was captivated by her desire for a change. He found himself looking forward to their conversations, learning more about her and supporting her. Drawn by her unspoken dauntless, he finds himself remembering small details she mentioned and starts to notice the small things - the way she bites her lips when she's concentrating, the way her hand gestures when she talks, the cadence of her voice. These details, once unnoticed, now feel precious and distant. Then comes the subtle recalibration of his routine, taking the long way to the coffee machine, knowing that she's usually there around that time.
The drug cartel finds out about the investigation and starts to intimidate and threaten them but Sion protects them and they grow closer as they navigate the danger together. In a tense confrontation, they face off against the cartel, Ella, while protecting Sion, takes a gun shot. With Sion's clever plan, they managed to outsmart the peddlers. Later the peddlers were arrested and put behind the bars with the evidence gathered by Ella, Sion, Shara and the teens. With the cartel dismantled, Ella set out on a new journey. As she was about to bid farewell to Sion, she says " The sky looks bright orange..... it looks beautiful...uh.....I have decided to be a travel journalist.", to which Sion replies with a smirk, "Well you certainly are a journalist."
They look at eachother, not knowing how they feel about eachother, one last embrace... As Ella was leaving, Sion yelled "Ella! Before you leave l must confess, thought it sounds stupid, l want to travel with you. There will be compromises but if you are willing to let me try, l promise l will always be there for you. What do you say? " , she replied "Think l might take one more shot.", to which Sion's ears turn bright red. "We feel like we are third wheeling " said Shara as she hid behind the bushes along with others.
