Chapter 372 - Chapter 373: What’s Meant to Happen, Will Happen

"Hela has gone to find Thor."

Ancient One's simple and direct words sent waves through Alan's mind. He had assumed that Hela's early appearance meant she wouldn't seek out Thor.

But what's meant to happen will always happen—just like how Stark was obsessed with transferring human consciousness into machines. Some things could still be avoided, but others were inevitable.

"You can stop Hela, can't you?" Ancient One asked. If Hela were to make a move against Thor, it could lead to unexpected consequences.

After all, Thor was also Odin's son, just like Hela.

Was she worried that Thor might try to seize Asgard's throne? Or did she resent the fact that Odin favored Thor over her?

"I can." Alan let out a small sigh. He had simply wanted to relax for a bit—why was that so difficult?

Stopping Hela and Thor from fighting was crucial, considering that in the original timeline, Thor lost an eye to her.

As expected, in front of an older sister, a younger brother would always be the little brother.

Hela had crushed Mjolnir with her bare hands—how could Thor possibly stand a chance against her?

Alan had to prevent her reckless actions and ensure Thor didn't lose his eye.

"Hopefully, I'm not too late..."

Alan had originally wanted Hela to stay in Asgard for a while, partly to deter Thanos from attacking.

Even though the Bifrost hadn't been destroyed and couldn't be used, Asgard still had certain rooms that connected to external realms. If someone found a way to use them, an invasion was still possible.

"If it's you, you'll definitely be on time."

Seeing that she had delivered her message, Ancient One placed her right hand behind her back and raised her left, drawing a glowing portal in the air.

Under Scott and Hank Pym's astonished gazes, she stepped through and vanished into the Sanctum Sanctorum.

"Holy shit, am I dreaming?"

Scott stood there, utterly dumbfounded. Someone had appeared out of thin air and then disappeared just as suddenly.

There were actually real sorcerers on Earth?

This was far beyond just superheroes!

Now that Ancient One had left, Alan's next course of action was clear—find Hela and Thor.

"Scott, quit spacing out and make the call," Alan patted Scott's shoulder and motioned for Wanda to come over.

"Alan, do you even know where Thor is?"

Wanda had originally wanted to ask Ancient One, who would surely know Hela's whereabouts, but before she could speak, Ancient One had already left.

"I know. Let's go."

Before Scott could even react, Alan and Wanda vanished before his eyes. He turned in disbelief toward Hank Pym.

"Dr. Pym, can you build a time machine?"

"That's not a time machine, Scott," Hank Pym replied, his thoughts drifting once again to Janet. He turned away, staring at his shoes.

"It's the Quantum Realm—where the body shrinks down to subatomic size..."

Scott's eyes immediately lit up. As an engineer, he had always believed time travel could be possible.

"Wait… doesn't that mean we could travel through time?"

Excited, Scott began inspecting his suit, especially the regulator on his belt.

It looked like it could be opened and had space for something inside. However, his fidgeting quickly earned him Hank Pym's wrath.

"Scott, stop messing with it!"

Hank knew Scott had taken on this dangerous and troublesome job because he needed money for his daughter.

"This is my warning—do not tamper with the Ant-Man suit!"

Scott, startled by Hank's sudden outburst, immediately raised his hands in surrender.
