When John Brown got home, it wasn't even 10 o'clock yet. The one who opened the door was Emily Lopez. Her face lit up with surprise as she exclaimed, "Brother-in-law, weren't you not coming home tonight?"
John Brown chuckled, "Being late is fine, but not coming home at night—that's hardly the mark of a good man."
Emily Lopez yelped, "Ah, don't tell me you're going to give me a foot massage again tonight?"
John Brown had completely forgotten about this, but her exaggerated cry left him amused yet speechless. Clearly, she was reminding him on purpose, using such hysterics as a show meant for Gina Lopez.
