Descriptions: One of the treasures necessary for Vladislaus' ascension to become a Vampire King. A blood-red crystal phylactery, encased in a lattice of obsidian veins that pulse with an eerie glow. It is said to be the crystallized essence of a Viscount vampire, forged through the sacrifices of maidens of the other race–a thousand of them, in fact. The phylactery constantly seeps a slow trickle of blood, as though it is alive, and those who wield it feel a dark presence lingering within, whispering secrets of blood magic. It was feared that the artifact does not merely store power but hungers for it, growing stronger with each life it siphons.
