Warboss Garka Gok, on 'da humie krumper':
"'E fell from da sky. We thought 'e was just some 'umie scum, but nah—'e came with more dakka than any warboss ever. When 'e left, dere was only blood an' dust."
Mindscape Encounter — Noah and Batman
He found himself inside a mind—something he had grown used to. A giant iron wall loomed before him.
"Ferrum intus, Ferrum foris. Iron within, Iron without."
He passed through layers of defenses—soldiers, monsters, horrors. Eventually, he reached a desolate, trembling plain. In the distance, two titans fought: one armored, one half-naked, surrounded by cheering orks.
Then time froze. The half-naked warrior turned to him.
"Welcome to my humble abode," the man said, and the battlefield transformed into a quiet meadow. A table stood between them.
"Please, sit."
(POV: Noah)
As we sat, a teapot appeared.
"Dragon's Tear," I said. "Try it."
He sipped, calm. "Who are you?"
"I'm Noah Light. Pleased to meet you, Bruce Wayne."
He stiffened. Even here, he masked his thoughts—but I could still hear them. Probably a side effect of this shared mental space.
"I could tell you everything," I said. "Or I could show you."
The world shifted.
The Milky Way appeared.
"Welcome to my old home. The galaxy known as the Milky Way. 40,000 years in the future..."
With my words, the world around us transformed once more.
He gasped at the sight before him—the Milky Way, vast and radiant.
"Welcome to my old home. The galaxy known as the Milky Way... 40,000 years in the future."
As I spoke, scenes began to flicker into existence, one after another. It began with the birth of a boy—his abandonment, his silent tears in an orphanage crib.
From the moment he spoke, it was clear he was different. He uttered his first words before the age of one, graduated high school at six, finished college at seven, earned his doctorate at nine. In time, he was hailed as the greatest genius in human history.
The images began to move faster now, skipping through time as the boy grew and his feats became even more awe-inspiring. Humanity followed him to the stars. Under his leadership, mankind spread across the galaxy.
The final image lingered: a golden utopia spanning the Milky Way.
"That boy was you, wasn't it?"
"Yes. That was my past. Everything you saw is true. I have never told a lie."
"Your life was… incredible. But why? Why would someone leave that to come here?"
"It wasn't the end. But I came here, proudly, to help you, Bruce. You saw what I'm capable of. And I know there's something you want—something I once had."
"The Panacea Serum. That was real?" he asked, disbelieving.
"Panacea. The mythical cure-all. It heals every disease—even aging. Yes, it's real. My greatest achievement. But I lost the core ingredient. The heart of the serum was a microorganism produced by a unique plant—one I named the Rose of Asklepios. It was sabotaged. Driven to extinction. I have only one seed left. Which brings me to my first request."
"Poison Ivy. You want her, right?"
"Yes. If she can grow it, she could save billions. I'm prepared to pay for her help."
"I won't interfere—if that's what you want. But what about the governments?"
"I'll do what I did before: win the hearts of the people. Unite mankind. I've done it once. I can do it again.
But now… I'll show you the part of my life I'm not proud of."
The scenes shifted again.
One by one, the utopian images were torn apart by horrors—massacres, burning worlds, oceans of blood and ash. Civilization collapsed into barbarism. Humanity, once enlightened and united, fell into darkness.
"The galaxy burned. I tried to smother the flames with kindness. I gave everything I had. But it wasn't enough. One mortal, no matter how great, cannot hold up a galaxy.
So I changed. I sought power—power to command gods and monsters alike. When I reached the limits of humanity, I turned to the past. I chased ancient legends, beings who could shatter stars.
That was the start of my first voyage."
He stopped, pain tightening his expression.
"Unfortunately, our time is up. The rest will have to wait. Please… do what Hermes asked."
He fell into a familiar darkness, then crashed back into his body. Gasping, he opened his eyes.
The man in the transparent chamber—it was him. The same one he had just spoken to, though now he looked... frail.
Before he could say a word, a voice echoed in his mind.
"Bruce. Thank God you're alive. Alfred told us you needed help. What happened?"
He barely had time to respond before the Justice League teleported in around him.
They landed with practiced calm, eyes scanning the unfamiliar chamber.
"Everyone, relax. I'll explain everything," Batman said.
After hearing his account, Clark asked, "So what now? Did he say how to wake him up?"
"I can help with that, Mr. Kent," Hermes said through the speakers. "My master appreciates your concern. He only asks that you—and Mr. Allen—run and fly through this chamber as fast as you can. The room is modified with spatial distortions. You may go all out."
With a quick glance to Bruce, Superman and Flash nodded. They launched forward, accelerating with godlike speed.
As they moved, golden light surged through the walls in pulsing, vein-like streams. The energy gathered below, forming a pitch-black sphere. Slowly, golden liquid filled it.
Then, all of it poured into the chamber—into him.
The man absorbed it like a black hole.
Four hours passed. The flow stopped. The chamber turned opaque.
"Is it over?" Wonder Woman asked.
"No," said Martian Manhunter, his tone suddenly grave. "It's just beginning."
"What do you mean, J'onn?" asked Aquaman.
"He's awakening. And I am not the only one who feels it."
Before anyone could react, a shockwave pierced their bodies—mind and spirit.
The chamber began to rumble, the very air around it cracking. Then it burst apart.
He stood among them.
His body was designed—not to live, but to fight, to destroy. Even as they gazed at him, their instincts screamed. There were no imperfections. No flaws. It was unnatural.
He opened his silver eyes.
All the chaos went still—like the surface of a dead ocean.
Then he spoke, calm and clear:
"The Justice League. It is really nice to finally meet you."
