To play the role of Origami Tobiichi well, the most important trait isn't being a pervert.
It's revenge.
In the original story, Origami Tobiichi devoted her entire life to one goal—revenge.
To kill Phantom.
To banish all Spirits.
To avenge the parents who had died long ago...
But in this world, because she hadn't used an identity-forging token, she didn't even have the most basic backstory—let alone a reason for revenge.
So, she had to create one for herself.
"The Incarnation of the Collective Will of the Spirit."
Tying into her identity as an elf, she fabricated this as her origin.
During this protracted war, the number of Spirit sacrificed for the ambitions of various races had grown beyond measure. Without any conscious effort, the Spirit had condensed a single embodiment of their will—created for the sole purpose of ending this war of the gods.
Becoming the angel who ends the war—this was already her system-assigned main quest.
And this fabricated backstory conveniently gave her a perfectly valid reason to intervene in the War of the Gods.
Not only that, Origami Tobiichi could now logically obtain a motive for revenge.
After all, if she was the incarnation of the will of all Spirit, and all these races had slaughtered her kin for their own selfish ambitions, then wouldn't avenging her fallen kin be perfectly justified?
Looking at the now-stunned Dwarf commander before her, Origami raised her hands—and the golden floating cannons beside her locked onto every Dwarf inside the room.
"You—!"
The commander's bronze-colored face twitched—whether in fear or rage, it wasn't clear.
It looked like he wanted to say something.
But Origami Tobiichi gave him no chance to speak.
Dozens of floating cannons fired at once. Nearly simultaneously, bloody holes bloomed in the foreheads of every Dwarf present.
One by one, the sounds of collapsing bodies echoed.
Within moments, there were no survivors in the command room.
Origami retracted her cannons, her mood as calm as her expression.
In the original series, Origami Tobiichi was never some benevolent saint. Every time she encountered a Spirit, she showed no mercy.
When facing enemies—Origami never held back.
And beyond her roleplay, the girl herself felt no affection for the Dwarf.
Because the race that had caused the greatest damage to this world wasn't the god, nor the Flügel, nor even the demonic races.
It was the Dwarf.
These creatures, dwelling beneath the earth, were like a fusion of greedy dwarves and wicked Dwarfs—born bad and driven by an insatiable desire to forge.
At first, they mined and drilled mountains, exploiting resources without a care for ecology or terrain. Then came the deforestation—entire forests were leveled, leaving countless forest-dwelling creatures homeless and forced into the ashen plains to die.
Then they moved on to slaughter and plunder. To forge more powerful magical items, they waged war on the forest elves, stealing the soulstones—objects as vital as life itself to the forest elves.
But even then, they weren't satisfied.
Eventually, they cast their greedy eyes upon unactivated Divine Marrow, seeking to forge the ultimate weapon of destruction.
The actions of the Dwarf were dragging this world into hell.
Compared to them, even the demonic races seemed adorable.
With a look of disgust toward the corpses on the ground, Origami vanished from the Dwarf warship.
After gaining a safe distance, all of her floating cannons targeted the ship's engine.
They fired simultaneously.
The engines—critical parts of the ship—were blasted into fire and rubble. The warship exploded in a dazzling burst of flames, crashing down and flattening much of the Dwarf army below.
With that, Origami turned and left the scene without a trace of sentiment.
She had already obtained enough information from the Dwarfs' mouths.
"As expected, my strength is still a bit lacking in this world."
Processing the information she'd gathered, Origami couldn't help but reflect.
Just because she had wiped out a few Dwarfs and destroyed a warship didn't mean she considered herself superior to their entire race.
After all, these had only been grunts.
If the Dwarfs truly decided to target her—even if they didn't resort to using E-Bomb—just deploying something one level below that could already be more than enough to end her.
She had to become stronger.
With that thought, Origami opened her spatial inventory and glanced at the stack of item cards she had accumulated.
"I've hoarded quite a few cards… and some of them can be used right now."
Three item cards appeared in her hand.
Spirit Equipment Amplification TicketAngel Enhancement TicketBasic Attribute Boost Ticket
A Spirit's power is almost entirely fixed—training and hard work have negligible effect.
The only real way to improve was through strengthening items.
Eighty percent of a Spirit's power came from their Spirit Equipment and Angel—the rest came from their basic stats.
In the previous world, she had perfectly completed several side quests and earned some excellent rewards, including these enhancement cards.
Now, it was time to use them.
"Hurts to spend them all at once, but this world is full of danger. One misstep and I could end up dead in a ditch. Better to be prepared."
With a thought, the three cards dissolved into particles of light and merged with her body, her Angel, and her Spirit Equipment.
"ZING———!"
A blinding radiance enveloped Origami, waves of powerful energy surging from her form.
Bathed in this light, she could clearly feel herself rapidly growing stronger.
These three item cards had been obtained from perfect side quest completions and were already potent.
Using all three at once produced a synergistic amplification that went beyond 1 + 1 + 1 = 3.
The radiance lasted for nearly half a minute before slowly fading.
Origami clenched her fists—she could feel her physical abilities had reached a new level. Her internal spiritual energy had also grown significantly.
She then looked toward her Spirit Equipment.
The soft, glowing skirt behind her had transformed into a pair of pure white wings. The metallic crown atop her head had become a luminous, uniquely shaped halo resembling a cross.
Her Spirit Equipment had changed form after being enhanced, making her appearance even more like an angel.
"The setting says I'm the incarnation of the Spirit will… so why do I look more and more like a Flügel?"
Origami grumbled inwardly.
Even before, her equipment resembled that of the Flügel.
Now, after this round of evolution, she looked almost identical—nine or even ten parts out of ten.
"Hello."
Just as Origami was preparing to inspect the changes to her Angel, a voice suddenly sounded behind him—cold, yet tinged with a frightening charm.
A sudden sense of danger erupted in her heart.
Without hesitation, she activated Metatron: Mal'akh, teleporting a short distance away.
Alert, she turned to look at where she had just been standing—only to find a girl who looked nearly identical to her standing there.
The girl tilted her head slightly, as if puzzled by what she saw.
"Wait… you've got to be kidding…"
Looking at the girl now standing before her, Origami eye twitched twice.
"This isn't funny."
