Chapter 324 - Chapter 2: Dwarf Battleship

The more scenery she witnessed in this world, the more terrified Tobiichi Origami became at the brutality of war.

At that moment, she couldn't even confirm where she was. The area surrounding her was nothing but desolate wasteland. If the system hadn't informed her which world she was in, she might have thought she had traveled to some post-apocalyptic world devoid of life.

She had flown aimlessly for quite some time without encountering a single living creature.

All she saw were remnants and scars left behind by war—massive craters several kilometers in diameter, abrupt gaps within vast mountain ranges, and abandoned buildings of unknown origin that may have once belonged to various races.

The continuous descent of black ash from the sky made this world feel all the more hopeless and desolate.

She didn't know how much time had passed before she finally heard faint sounds of explosions and sensed magical fluctuations.

It seemed that a battle was occurring far in the distance.

Having just arrived in this world and still unclear about its situation, Tobiichi Origami instinctively didn't want to get involved.

But she had grown tired of aimless flying. Now that she had finally found signs of living beings, it wouldn't hurt to gather some information.

After weighing her options, she ultimately changed direction and flew toward the source of the battle.

Although Spirits weren't considered especially powerful in this world, they definitely weren't weak either.

Not to mention, she had numerous life-saving tools in her spatial backpack—enough to protect her even against this world's gods. And even without using those trump cards, her own inherent abilities were enough to fend off most threats.

After all, Tobiichi Origami was the only Spirit girl who possessed teleportation abilities.

Her [Angel: Metatron] had four forms, and among them, [Metatron : Mal'akh] granted her high-speed flight and instant teleportation.

While traveling earlier out of boredom, she tested her teleportation range—and the results were promising. As long as a location was within her line of sight, she could teleport to it.

With such an ability, her safety level skyrocketed.

So, she decided to first check out what kind of battle was taking place.

If it turned out to be a clash between high-tier races—like the Flügel fighting against Giants—she'd just take a quick look and then teleport far, far away.

But if it wasn't, then she could consider getting involved and asking for the information she needed.

Concealing her presence as much as possible, Tobiichi Origami flew discreetly toward the direction of the battle.

Soon, after crossing a cliff, she witnessed a scene unfolding in the valley below.

It was a lush, green forest—an incredibly precious sight in this otherwise apocalyptic world.

But now, war flames were burning within it.

A flying battleship several times larger than an aircraft carrier was skimming just above the ground through the forest. Behind it, two other battleships had already been shot down, now reduced to burning wreckage.

Within the forest, intense magical fluctuations rippled as sounds of fighting echoed continuously.

Tobiichi Origami surveyed the scene below and quickly assessed the situation.

It was a battle between the Elf and the Dwarf.

As two God-crafted races of roughly equal strength, the Elf and Dwarf had accumulated deep-seated hatred for each other after thousands of years of war. They saw each other as true mortal enemies, locked in a fight to the death.

"Looks like I've come across a small-scale skirmish between the two races," Origami thought. "No big deal. Just two mid-tier races. And it's a minor engagement—I can totally handle this."

Just as she was about to drop down and intervene, the leading Dwarf battleship began to emit an intense surge of magical energy from its front section.

The Dwarf were a race skilled in crafting. Every weapon they created was a top-tier magical artifact.

Although they couldn't use magic themselves, they achieved power rivaling the Elf through their crafted gear.

And the battleship in front of her—was an entire magical weapon in itself!

The gathered magical energy condensed into a devastating beam that vaporized the forest within the valley.

Everything in its path was obliterated. Even the earth was scarred with deep trenches.

Many of the Elf in the forest tried to cast defensive spells, but under this sweeping beam, their efforts were as fragile as paper.

With just one shot, more than half of the resisting Elf were annihilated.

"Haha! Boxer briefs, boxer briefs! In the face of Dwarf technology, these flesh bags have no chance of resistance!"

Inside the battleship, a bronzed-skin, red-haired Dwarf commander laughed triumphantly.

With this battle, yet another Elf base had been eradicated.

Once captured, all the resources here would be melted down in furnaces and forged into more powerful magical weapons.

"Cool the main cannon and order the ground troops to pursue,"

The commander quickly regained composure and continued issuing orders, a cruel smile appearing on his lips. "The soul stones on those forest pigs' foreheads are valuable—don't let a single one get away."

"Yes, sir."

The subordinate promptly relayed the order. Units on standby at the surface activated magical tools and swiftly pursued the retreating survivors.

Those who hadn't been vaporized by the main cannon only lived a little longer. Under the slaughter of the ground troops, the Elf mages fell one by one in pools of blood.

The Dwarf troops merely extracted the soul stones from their foreheads and tossed their bodies away like garbage.

"Commander, abnormal energy detected five kilometers to the six o'clock direction."

At that moment, the Dwarf operator monitoring the radar noticed something unusual.

The commander frowned slightly and tapped the holographic screen, pulling up the indicated location.

As the image zoomed in, everyone could see a girl dressed in a pure white ceremonial gown, wearing a crown of light on her head.

"Shit—Flügel!"

The commander's face turned pale with fear. His hand trembled so badly he nearly hit the main cannon fire button, which would have wiped out the Dwarf ground troops below.

The Flügel, like the Dwarf, were also a race crafted by the gods.

However, the Flügel were created by Artosh, the War God—the most powerful God. Every Flügel was born from his feathers and possessed overwhelming combat ability that was in a completely different league from the Dwarf.

Though each Flügel appeared to be a beautiful young girl with a halo and wings like a holy angel, they were, in truth, bloodthirsty demons at heart.

A single Flügel could destroy an entire Dwarf fleet—how could the commander not panic?

"Wait… hold on?"

Amid his terror, the commander suddenly froze. He narrowed his eyes and scrutinized the girl more closely.

Then, anger filled his gaze.

Though at first glance she looked exactly like a Flügel, upon closer inspection, there were differences.

The crown on her head wasn't a halo, and the wings on her back were not the Flügel's—rather, they were pure white light wings from her dress.

"What the hell is this thing, pretending to be divine?"

Enraged, the commander aimed the battleship's main cannon directly at the mysterious being.

"Fire!"
