"I knew it was you!" Chen Ke said, walking over and patting Parker's shoulder. It was solid, and felt like real flesh.
"Parker, you have no idea how long I've been stuck here!" Parker said.
Parker briefly described the changes his body underwent after Chen Ke left the cathedral for the second time.
Parker likened the sensation to suddenly losing control of his body, as though he had been teleported somewhere instantly.
"It might be more apt to say this, I was half inside that damn cathedral, and the other half inside this room. I don't even know how I managed it," Parker said.
Chen Ke shook his head; he didn't know the principle behind it either, but he was certain that this phenomenon had something to do with the previous time paradox...
In the West Gold Building, where Chen Ke and Parker first met, until they were attacked by a pack of dogs in the lobby on the first floor, the experience of time for both of them changed.
