With Su Wan's last words, cheers completely erupted at Madison, ignited Times Square, and set the whole of New York ablaze. The crowd that had been somewhat controllable completely lost it, storming into various stores and beginning a frenzied "free-for-all" shopping spree.
The streets were so chaotic that the police started calling for "backup."
But none of this had anything to do with Su Wan.
He finished speaking and walked toward the home team's tunnel.
The host didn't stop him for more interviews. Everything he wanted to ask was already summed up in Su Wan's speech. Keeping Su Wan at the sidelines would have been superfluous—a seasoned host wouldn't do such a thing.
