Chapter 500 - Chapter 498

"Wendy."

"Ron, the manga‑platform acquisition is complete. The tech lead is here—why not jump on a video call so you two can talk directly?"

"Sure."

Ron reached into Sumas's storage space and pulled out a laptop.

Once the call connected, a middle‑aged man appeared on Wendy's screen—and Ron's face filled the man's own monitor.

"Lord Ron, I'm Harold."

Ron nodded. "Let me outline my plan.

"First, this platform exists purely out of personal interest. I know many creators who have nowhere suitable to show their work. I don't intend to make money from it, so early on we'll give new authors guaranteed minimums and other favorable terms.

"We'll extend even better conditions to established authors. I want a healthy, welcoming site; profit is not the main goal.

"Second, on the technical side, I've got software people. Your team will handle hardware and the physical environment—keep power, network, and cooling stable. Servers overheat or freeze easily; some companies even sink them in the ocean for cooling.

"Third…"

Ron had thought this through in detail, drawing on memories from his previous life, plus data Chii had gathered while hacking other comic sites.

In short: hardware maintenance and part of operations would be Wendy's responsibility; software upkeep and the rest of operations would be Ron's.

Once he had the server address and root permissions, Ron turned everything over to Chii. From then on he could leave the build entirely to her. When the new architecture was ready, he would simply upload **Baki** and **Bungou Stray Dogs** to the platform.

---

*Ding‑a‑ling!*

His phone rang.

"Ron."

"Hisoka?"

"It's me. I'm back at Heaven's Arena. Our all‑out fight—when do we start? I'm itching for it."

"How many wins do you have on the two‑hundredth floor?"

"What do you mean?" Hisoka blinked.

"This arena is the best stage, but I'm the floor master. How long until you earn the right to challenge me?"

A brief silence. "Two more matches."

"Then I'll wait until you have those two victories. All right?"

"Perfect." Hisoka hung up, excitement only growing. He licked his lips. "A little appetizer before the main course isn't bad."

---

Harold bought brand‑new servers and installed them near the Dragon Dojo—an area so secure that few in Fiola Kingdom would dare cause trouble there.

Just days later, Chii finished the programming. The moment the servers went live, a brand‑new manga platform launched worldwide.

Its name: **Yoshihiro Togashi**.

Wendy, curious, had asked about it; Ron said he hoped every creator on the site would embody the qualities that name represented. The real reason he kept to himself.

Chii promoted the platform in forums across the net, targeting two groups:

readers—through content and discounts;

authors—through generous benefits.

All the comics from the acquired site remained, and Ron had made sure Chii purchased many more beforehand, so the catalog was plentiful from day one. With the launch‑day bonuses, traffic climbed rapidly. Submissions poured in. The only missing piece was a few big‑name authors, and Ron left that poaching job to Harold.

"Time to start moving **Baki**," Ron muttered.

He reconstructed the series from memory, revising details where gaps remained, then acted as an ordinary newcomer:

Log in to the Yoshihiro Togashi site, register an author account, open the dashboard, select *Create Work*, enter the title—**Baki**, genre—Action/Fighting, add a synopsis and a custom cover, then upload chapter one.

An AI trained by Chii scanned each submission for plagiarism, policy violations, and industry conflicts. If nothing flagged, the comic went live for readers.

Within minutes Ron's upload cleared review.

He opened the homepage and typed the title into the search bar.
