Li Fei thought to himself, this guy's sense of smell couldn't be that sensitive, could it? Just as the thought crossed his mind, the creature hopped towards him. The Red-eyed Toad's body was as massive as a building, and it was already too late for Li Fei to run; he would inevitably be crushed under the colossal weight from above.
Perhaps he would turn into a puddle of mush! He looked up determinedly, he absolutely couldn't let himself get flattened by its rear end, not with his handsome face to maintain. He figured that the front flippers of the Red-eyed Toad might be a weak spot, a potential target for a counterattack.
So he quickly judged where it would land and sped off in that direction, light as a feather. Just as he reached the spot, he found himself enveloped by a dark shadow; above him, the giant front flipper of the Red-eyed Toad came crashing down with a thunderous impact.
"Since you don't offer me a way out, I'll just turn you into a cripple," he proclaimed.
