Chapter 339 - Stop Provoking Me

Videl's actions were extremely clumsy—her eyes shut in embarrassment as she let Yuujin take the lead, allowing him to claim and seize her lips.

This was only natural. After all, this was Videl's first time kissing a boy—her so-called first kiss.

Yuujin savored the sweetness of her still somewhat inexperienced lips, indulging until he was satisfied before finally letting her go.

"Videl, thanks for the treat."

Leaning close to her ear, Yuujin whispered softly, his tone filled with satisfaction.

Videl was already feeling lightheaded, but upon hearing Yuujin's words, her face turned an even deeper shade of red.

"Hahaha…"

Feeling quite pleased, Yuujin couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Though he had enjoyed countless beauties before, the pure and shy charm of a girl like this was something that never grew old, no matter how many times he experienced it.

After spending a little more time together on the rooftop, the bell signaling the start of class was about to ring, so the two quickly tidied their clothes and prepared to return to the classroom.

However, as soon as they stepped down from the rooftop, they ran into Sharpner and a few other boys walking toward them.

"Oh, if it isn't our dear Videl and Sirus. You two sure are getting close, huh?"

Sharpner's eyes slightly widened at the sight of Yuujin and Videl walking together, then his voice turned sour as he sneered.

"Our business is none of your concern, Sharpner."

With a cold expression, Videl responded indifferently.

Sharpner and the boys behind him were completely stunned.

Videl… actually talked back to them?

Did they hear that right? Wasn't Videl usually indifferent to all their provocations and taunts? What was going on with her today?!

Could it be because of Sirus?

Sharpner suddenly had a realization, and his face darkened. The jealousy in his heart flared up like a roaring fire.

"Videl, everyone knows your father is that 'arrogant fraud,' Mr. Satan. Other than that idiot Elisa, do you really think anyone else would want to be friends with you?"

"Sirus is just toying with you. Believe me, it won't be long before he shows his true colors and grows sick of you."

Sharpner sneered, but at that moment, Videl's expression instantly turned icy.

"Sharpner, I already told you—our business is none of your concern!"

Videl was clearly getting angry now, while Yuujin simply crossed his arms and watched the scene unfold with a grin.

Sharpner, frustrated by Videl's repeated cold responses, nearly lost his temper on the spot.

But then, as if struck by an idea, his expression shifted into a playful smirk.

"Well, Videl, you're desperate for people to acknowledge you, aren't you? You don't even mind being used by someone like Sirus."

"If that's the case, why not let me play with you too?"

"If you listen to me and obey my words from now on, I might be willing to reluctantly accept you as my girlfriend."

"Of course, since you're Mr. Satan's daughter, you could never really be my girlfriend, but at least until I get bored, I'll protect you. I'll make sure no one else in class bullies or mocks you."

"So? Sounds like a good deal, doesn't it? Wanna give it a try?"

Sharpner smiled smugly, while the boys behind him started jeering and laughing along.

"Sharpner, I used to just find you annoying… but now—"

"I really can't stand you."

"Sirus, step back a little."

Closing her eyes, Videl took a deep breath and cracked her knuckles as she slowly approached Sharpner.

Now this was an interesting turn of events. Yuujin took a few steps back, and for the first time, Sharpner felt a sense of unease.

"V-Videl, this is a school! What do you think you're doing…?"

Fear flickered in Sharpner's eyes as he tried to sound threatening, but before he could finish, Videl suddenly appeared in front of him and slammed a fist into his stomach.

A sharp pain erupted from his abdomen as he let out a scream and collapsed to the ground.

Even though Sharpner was an athletic guy who trained regularly, he was still just an ordinary teenager. Against Videl, he didn't stand a chance.

"V-Videl, you actually hit me?!"

"S-She hit someone! Videl hit someone!"

Sharpner's face was pale as he struggled to process what had just happened, while the boys behind him shrieked like frightened little girls.

"Shut up!"

Videl's cold gaze swept over them, and they instantly fell silent, shivering as they dared not make another sound.

They knew how strong Videl was. They had only ever mocked and bullied her because they relied on their numbers and believed she wouldn't fight back. But now that she had actually snapped, they were more terrified than ever.

But… why?

Videl had always endured their taunts, never talking back. What had changed today?!

Ignoring their confusion, Videl turned her attention back to Sharpner and spoke coldly:

"Sharpner, do you have any idea how disgusting you are? From now on, stay away from me!"

As she spoke, she unleashed a surge of her energy. While it was nothing compared to Yuujin and the others, for an ordinary person, it was overwhelming—enough to strike fear deep into their hearts.

Sharpner had never seen Videl look so terrifyingly cold before. In a complete panic, he furiously nodded like a bobblehead.

Today, Videl had suddenly exploded! He was absolutely terrified!

"Hmph, looks like you won't be causing any more trouble."

"Sirus, let's go back to class."

Scoffing, Videl ignored the defeated group, calling for Yuujin as they both walked away.

"Feel a little better now?"

As they walked, Yuujin smiled and asked.

"Mm…"

Thinking about how she had just acted so fiercely in front of Yuujin, Videl's face turned red again. But in a way, this had been a long-overdue release of pent-up emotions.

She used to endure everything to avoid unnecessary trouble. As long as others didn't cross her bottom line, she would tolerate their mockery. But that didn't mean she was some saint who didn't care.

Now, though, she had gained Yuujin's acknowledgment and officially become one of the Red Silk Girls. Soon, she would leave this place and head to the temple. There was no need to keep putting up with their nonsense.

Sharpner was lucky she only gave him a small lesson—she could've done far worse.

Releasing the frustrations she had bottled up for so long, Videl felt a weight lift from her chest. But as an observer, Yuujin saw even more.

Sharpner… probably had a crush on Videl.

He just didn't know how to deal with his feelings. Because of Videl's father, Mr. Satan—who was often mocked—Sharpner refused to openly express his admiration. Instead, he acted obnoxious, constantly teasing and provoking her.

Even his ridiculous "offer" for Videl to be his fake girlfriend was likely a knee-jerk reaction to the sense of threat he felt from Yuujin.

But the fool had played his cards all wrong.

He wanted Videl but didn't want to go against the crowd. How could he expect to have it both ways?

And now? He had not only failed to get closer to her, but he had also completely destroyed any chance he had.

Such childish antics… but they were amusing in their own way.

Still, even if Yuujin understood Sharpner's feelings, he had no intention of explaining them to Videl.

Because from now on—Videl belonged to him.

And the feelings of other men? They didn't matter in the slightest.
