Half of Chloe's body was already submerged in the water, when Ares leaped towards her.
Grabbing her firmly by the shoulders, he immediately turned her around to face him.
"What the fuck are you doing?! How dare you try to hurt my—" his words trailed when he looked down and saw her hand was empty. "What— wh-at did you do to "isabe-lla," he stuttered, looking around as his hands dropped from her shoulders.
Chloe had gone pale, and mute. She just stared through him, as her body vibrated.
"What the fuck did you do to my daughter? Where is Isabella?!" He thundered violently, hearing Isabella's cries, but not seeing her in the water.
In the halls of Kolasi, a frantic looking Angel walked through every path before feet could touch, as she searched for her daughter.
"Angel, We've arrived at the intersection again," the princess pointed out after breaking out into the open from a narrow path.
"That can't be all of Kolasi. Where is my daughter?!"
