Chloe stared at her ringing phone for a few more seconds, smiling as she did, while Isabella cried away.
"You know what we're going to do, Belle? We're going to ignore the phone for a little while, and just enjoy the waves. What would a couple of hours change if the goal is still the same? You'll drown, pretty girl, but not just yet. Here, have your last supper back. Hades can wait."
She returned to humming, and feeding Isabella at the same time.
At about 2am an hour later, a car drove into Kolasi.
"You're seriously not going to speak to me because we're back in Kolasi?" The big guy asked, as he dropped out of the car.
He got an inaudible mumbling as a response, and became even more amused.
"Common Smoke. You've had six months overseas, and six months of rest. I barely had six months off. They didn't even ring us in when all that shit went down. You can't be mad that we're back."
