The tension in the air was palpable as lightning streaked across the sky around them, as if the storm itself were alive, reacting to the presence of the immense guardian. Nilla's armor seemed to pulse, absorbing the excess energy as she planted her feet firmly on the waterlogged, unstable ground.
The Guardian raised his thunder spear, which glowed brightly before launching a massive bolt of lightning directly at Nilla. Without hesitation, she activated her abilities.
A circle of runes appeared around her, absorbing the initial impact of the lightning and dissipating some of the energy around her. However, the force of the attack sent Nilla sliding back several meters.
"This is going to be tricky," she muttered as she raised her sword once more.
The Guardian charged forward, moving with impressive speed for someone of his size. The spear came down in a devastating arc, cracking the ground as it struck where Nilla had been standing moments before.
