Wushuang's left hand was fractured and still hadn't completely healed. She had been unconscious for more than twenty days and was not healing as quickly as Kaka. Her body was still in discomfort, and Kaka was tenderly holding her, being careful not to press on her wound.
She had finally woken up.
After so many days of anxious waiting, Kaka was relieved to see her awake at last. He gently stroked her back where the scars were still prominent, and he could feel the traces of the bandages through her skin. That gunshot had nearly taken her life.
The wound on her head had healed quickly since it was just a superficial injury. The Terrorist Organization had good medicine, and over the days, the wounds on Wushuang's head had nearly vanished. Inside the scalp, there were hardly any signs except for one prominent scar on her forehead which was yet to fade.
Regardless, she was awake.
Thank God for letting her return to his arms.
