The starry night sky, the dark alleys, and the distant sounds of cars—all the same as before.
"I'm already here. You can come out."
The young man's voice broke the silence, followed by a deep, magnetic laugh.
"You still chose to come, Kaminari-kun."
"Yeah. I'm not surprised by my own choice," Kaminari replied, shrugging as he looked toward the figure in the black hood emerging from the shadows.
But judging from the fact that he had put on the Cancer's Golden Cloth, that wasn't entirely true. After all, facing someone like this, it would be impossible to say he wasn't nervous at all.
Having witnessed the power levels of All Might and Wolfram, it was easy to imagine how terrifying the man before him truly was.
"Hehehe, you really are sharp," All For One said with a smile.
"I think I'm very sharp too. If I hadn't shown up tonight, the pros and the police would've been at my door tomorrow, right?" Kaminari shot back mockingly.
"That's not the case. I never considered what would happen if you didn't come," All For One said, shaking his head. "Because I know you very well. You wouldn't want to give up a Quirk that makes you even more complete."
Kaminari was silent for a moment. He took a deep breath and sighed. "In that case, let's get to business. What Quirk is it this time, and what's the price?"
"This Quirk is different from last time. Its original user was a senior researcher from Han Country. His ability is to freely control surrounding electrical currents."
As soon as he finished speaking, All For One let out a low laugh. "Kaminari-kun, can you release some electricity for me? Allow me to demonstrate."
Szzzzzzzzzzzz!
Kaminari didn't say anything. He simply acted—golden sparks flickered from his outstretched palm, instantly illuminating the dark alley.
"Watch closely. I believe you'll like this."
The next second, with a subtle hook of his right-hand fingers, the electricity in Kaminari's hand seemed to gain sentience, condensing into a current as thick as a baby's arm and flying through the air.
"This..."
Seeing the thick bolt of electricity swirling around All For One, Kaminari's golden eyes shrank. He immediately realized just how powerful this Quirk was.
"The Quirk is called Electricity Control. While it doesn't allow the user to store and release electricity like you can, it's the natural counter to all electricity-type Quirks."
"So? Isn't it an excellent ability?" All For One coaxed, still manipulating the electric serpent midair.
Kaminari's mouth twitched. He had to admit, he was tempted. With this, his Quirks would be nearly flawless.
"I want to ask… can this Electricity Control only manipulate free electricity in the air? What about micro-currents or electricity within wires?"
Hearing the question, All For One smiled. "That's something Kaminari-kun will need to discover on your own. After all, I only just acquired this Quirk."
"Fine." Kaminari nodded, then asked flatly, "Tell me the terms of the deal. But let me say this up front—I won't agree to anything too extreme."
"Hehehe, don't worry. I wouldn't put Kaminari-kun in that kind of position," All For One said, clearly amused.
He found Kaminari's current state fascinating, an innocent boy who had already stepped into darkness, yet still struggled internally. He was truly looking forward to seeing the day Kaminari Denki would fully embrace the dark.
"The condition is simple. After you arrive at your training camp location, just send your coordinates to the same number."
"What?!"
Kaminari was shocked. How did he know about the upcoming joint training camp?
And then he immediately realized, this condition meant he was planning something during the camp.
"You want me to betray U.A. and become your spy?!"
"Don't overthink it. Just consider it a trade," All For One said, suppressing his inner laughter.
"No!" Kaminari refused angrily.
"Oh? Then you don't want the Quirk?" As he spoke, electric currents surged through the air, circling around Kaminari like a python.
Seeing him fall silent, All For One continued, "Don't you want to perfect your Quirks?"
…
Kaminari stayed quiet, but the flicker in his eyes revealed his inner conflict. After a long pause, he finally asked, "What are you planning to do?"
"That's not part of the deal. The deal is simple: I give you the Quirk, and that's it," All For One replied calmly.
Time passed—thirty full minutes. Neither of them spoke. All For One didn't pressure him, simply listening quietly to Kaminari's racing heartbeat.
If I could see, I bet this kid's face looks amazing right now…
Just as he was sighing inwardly, he suddenly heard Kaminari's extremely calm voice.
"Are you giving me the Quirk now, or after I send the location? Because I don't even know where I'm going to be staying yet."
Hahaha!
All For One burst into hearty laughter. He knew the boy in front of him could never resist the temptation of perfecting his Quirks.
As that laughter echoed in the alley, Kaminari's expression was blank, but his eyes grew colder. At this point, there was no turning back.
Although the man had claimed he wouldn't act if Kaminari refused, only a fool would believe that. From the moment he accepted the first Quirk, Kaminari had already fallen into his grasp.
He even suspected that when Electricity Absorbing Physique was given to him, it had been recorded.
Maybe there were hidden cameras. Maybe All For One used a Quirk to record the entire process.
So now, all he could do was move forward and be on high alert during the training camp.
Especially with Kyoka and the others!
"I'll give you the Quirk now. When the time comes, just send me the coordinates," All For One said with a smile.
"Aren't you afraid I won't keep my word?" Kaminari asked.
"I'm not. Because I know you don't know how to betray me… and you wouldn't dare. Because you're smart—right?"
Kaminari's face twisted. He understood exactly what the man meant. It wasn't about whether he would do it, it was that he didn't dare to.
Because in this world, it wasn't just about himself. His parents, Kyoka, Tetsutetsu—they were all his bonds.
He couldn't even imagine what would happen if someone like All For One went after them.
All of that overwhelming confidence came from All For One's immense strength—and that made Kaminari crave power even more.
"You're right. Give me the Quirk!" Kaminari said, eyes filled with determination.
At the same time, he swore to himself:
One day, when he was strong enough—
He would never let anyone threaten the people he cared about ever again.
