What the heck was that? Did i misheard or something? I laid down on the bed with a plop again. I squeeze my eyes shut, a headache blooming in my temple, " Ugh! Well now it really feels like I'm screwed."
IN THE EVENING, DOWNSTAIRS
"Grandma? You baked cookies? Smells good." Sniffing something tasty i came downstairs and found out my grandmother baking cookies. Seeing me like this she smiled as usual and nods. I came down and stand beside her and took a couple of cookies. "How is it?" Grandma asked. " Mmhmm" I tried to describe how it is but it's way too tasty that I've to put a bunch of cookies in my mouth. The situation is soo pure, so normal that for some minutes i forgot for ehy i came here before sniffing the sweet smell of cookies or what's the real identity of my grandmother or what's the actual truth behind this typical family. "Swallow first sweetie. I'm not going anywhere. And eat slowly, these are yours after all. " " Mr. Oliver. " i said after swallow, i was too busy to grab a fistful of cookies again to notice her expression but i stopped midqay as i heard her surprising tone " Mr. Oliver? What for? Suddenly?" I stopped and turned towards her completely, " Nothing muc....." stopping me midway she cupped my cheeks and asked in a concerning tone," Are you having those illusions again?" I shook my head, " N....no....grandma. Don't worry . I'm just having a little bit of headache, that's all. Nothing much." " Madam. Allow me to say. I know the exact reason of her headache." Hearing a familiar voice both of us turned around. LILY! What is she doing here? How long is she standing here? A shivered ran down from my spine as i noticed Lily's gaze, i glanced at my grandmother expecting a devil might saw the other devil's gaze but it didn't feel like she felt or noticed it. " She pressurised herself so much madam." Lily came forward and standing in front of me she cupped my cheeks and continued," Look at her small brain, how many things can hold this small thing. Right?" She stepped back saying this. Grandma looked at me with concernful eyes again, " Honey?" I smiled fadely," Ye...yeah! I...i think so grandma. Because of exams I'm a little bit stressed, maybe eating these cookies with your handmade herbal tea makes me feel freshed and relaxed " i said or i should say i act, i tried to say in a joyful tone. Grandma nods and i went into my room. Few minutes later Lily came into my room with herbal tea and cookies. I was studying then, so i didn't look at her as if I'm so focused. " Stop acting. I know you're not reading a single word. Here you cookies " Lily said placing the cookies and the tea on my table then locked the door and leaned on the bookshelf. Her gaze fixed on me. Ugh! Why is she staring at me like that? Being irritated i finally said," WHAT?" I slammed my fist on my study table making my things jumped slightly. Lily chuckled. Seriously? She laughed? At me? What the..... I'm super tensing here and there she is chuckling? Lily wiped her tears dramatically. "Well aren't you curious little one?" Lily said in a devilishly tone.
