Li Dai Lu let out a long sigh as she left City A Base, her 'best friend' still recovering from her time in Camp Hell.
"Not what I was expecting," she sighed as she and her men continued to walk down the path in front of them. Normally, she would have already pulled out her RV and disappeared into the night, but she was still too out of sorts for something like that to happen.
"What were you expecting?" asked Wang Chao, his eyes scanning everything around them. There was something different in the air, and he didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. All he knew was that they had managed to destroy Camp Hell, and that part of his woman's life was over and done with.
And she was expecting twins.
"I say we go back to the mountain," grunted Liu Wei, adjusting his glasses. "At least until the babies are born. Not that we've dealt with everything, I think we need to take some time to ourselves."
