On Planet Vampa, where Broly once lived, a sudden crack tore through the fabric of space — a portal opening wide. From it stepped Broly (Dave), now changed.
He had a newly grown beard and longer hair, giving him the appearance of a battle-hardened wanderer — his unkempt appearance adding to his ruggedness.
"Damn… that was some hard time," Dave mumbled as he cracked his neck, the sound echoing faintly across the desolate landscape.
"But it was worth it, spending two years training under Whis," Dave mumbled as he closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath. In an instant, he shifted into his Super Saiyan form.
"But now I know what this Super Saiyan form does," Dave murmured, focusing and preparing to test it out. He clenched his fists, feeling the power surge through him.
With each transformation, the energy around him grew exponentially. "It amplifies my power by 50 times. No wonder the Saiyans are considered the strongest race in this universe," Dave said, a slight smirk crossing his face as he felt the overwhelming force pulsing within him.
"Now, to attract the Supreme Kai, I need to pump up more of my energy," Dave mumbled, focusing intensely as he clenched his fists.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" he roared, releasing the full force of his Super Saiyan form.
The air around him crackled with raw power, the ground beneath his feet trembled as waves of energy shot out in every direction. His aura blazed with a golden intensity, and his eyes glowed with fiery determination.
"Let's see if this is enough to draw attention," Dave thought as the shockwave of his energy spread far across Planet Vampa.
Dave continued to unleash wave after wave of energy, his power surging to unimaginable levels. He pushed himself further, pouring all his concentration into every blast, determined to catch the attention of the Supreme Kai. The air around him was filled with the crackle of energy, and the ground shook beneath his feet as his aura exploded in golden light.
Minutes turned into hours, but there was still no sign of the Supreme Kai. Dave's brow furrowed with frustration. "Where is he?" he muttered to himself.
Just as he was about to stop, a strange shift in the atmosphere caught his attention. A faint rumble echoed in the distance. At first, it was barely noticeable, but it grew louder. Slowly, a massive ship appeared in the sky, descending toward him. It was sleek, with a polished metallic surface reflecting the distant stars and the glowing planet below.
The ship landed softly, kicking up a cloud of dust as it touched down. The hatch opened, and a figure cloaked in an otherworldly aura stepped out.
Dave narrowed his eyes. "Finally," he said, his voice calm, though anticipation churned beneath the surface.
But as the figure stepped out of the ship and into the light, Dave's expression shifted. It wasn't the Supreme Kai. The being had blue skin, a lean, sharp-featured face, and wore armor with a scouter pressed to the side of his head — classic Frieza Force equipment.
The alien tapped the scouter as it beeped rapidly, clearly struggling to read Dave's power level. "Hmph… Impressive. I haven't seen a reading like this since… well, before Lord Frieza died," he said with a smirk.
"Listen, lowly warrior, you've been granted the honor of joining Lord Frieza's army—" he was about to finish when Dave suddenly appeared in front of him, grabbing him by the head in a blur of motion.
"Are you alone?" Dave asked coldly.
The terrified alien quickly nodded.
"Hm. Okay then—pilot the ship for me," Dave said as he released him and strode toward the vessel.
"W-Where do you want to go?" the alien asked nervously as he followed.
"Earth," Dave replied.
"Earth?! Why?! That's where Frieza was killed!" the alien exclaimed, his face pale.
"Just take me there... or die," Dave said flatly, his eyes glowing faintly with golden energy.
Without another word, the alien rushed to the controls and fired up the ship. Dave sat silently behind him, arms crossed, as they left Planet Vampa and soared into space.
About an hour later, back on Vampa, Broly's father — Paragus — entered the cave, holding a device that had just started blinking.
"Where did he go?" he muttered, realizing Broly was gone. His eyes narrowed as he glanced around the now-empty cavern, unaware that Broly have left not just the cave but the planet too.
As the ship cut through the void of space, Earth grew larger in the front viewport — a blue and green marble suspended in the dark. Dave stood silently, arms folded, his aura dimmed but still suffused with restrained power. The alien pilot glanced back nervously, sweat forming along his temple.
"L-Look… I really wouldn't advise landing on that planet," the alien stammered, trying to keep his voice steady. "After what happened to Lord Frieza… most of us avoid Earth entirely. It's crawling with Saiyans… and gods… and monsters. It's practically cursed!"
Dave didn't even look at him. "Good," he said simply.
The alien blinked. "Good? What do you mean, 'good'? That place is where legends die! Frieza. Cooler. Even Lord Moro didn't mess with it in the end!"
Dave slowly turned his head toward him, his golden eyes calm and unshaken. "I'm not them."
Gulping, the alien tapped nervously on the control panel. "Still… maybe we could just orbit a while? I mean, you don't have to land, right? You could send a message or—"
The ship jolted slightly as Dave stepped forward, placing a firm hand on the alien's shoulder. "Land. The Western Continent. Near the mountains. Quiet area."
"O-Okay! Y-You're the boss!" the alien said quickly, adjusting the course with shaking hands. Within minutes, the ship broke through Earth's atmosphere, flames licking across the hull before vanishing in the upper clouds. The landscape below stretched out — forests, mountains, cities glittering like stardust.
As the ship touched down, Dave stepped out calmly. Behind him, the doors slid shut, and the ship immediately soared back into the sky — clearly fleeing, which it was.
Dave ignored the fleeing ship, his eyes scanning the area around him. "I hope the Supreme Kai — or at least someone — senses me now," he mumbled, preparing to enter his Super Saiyan form when—
"What are you?"
A voice cut through the air. Someone had arrived.
