But at one point, someone triggered a trap on the floor, setting off a barrage of arrows that shot out like rain from each side of the wall for more than ten seconds. Luckily, a magical blue dome shield quickly enveloped everyone as Richard deployed his defensive skill out of instinct just in time.
I must admit, this old man's reaction time was only slightly below Shan's as a defence archetype.
"Shit, that was close," Richard murmured.
"It's good that you can sense the danger beforehand," Galenka said with amazement.
"It's all gut feeling, perhaps from experience," her father said dismissively with a thin smile. He added, "We won't always be lucky, so it's better to watch out."
"Hey Rocco, you sense the danger too, right? Why didn't you do something?" he asked with a frown.
Rocco shrugged slightly and replied, "I believe in your ability."
"Goddamn, kid. This isn't funny. In any case, I want to finish this dungeon as soon as possible," Richard said with an annoyed tone.
