Matt seemed to want to say something more, but the door behind him had already been pushed open.
"Why does Sir Ivan want to invite us to a banquet?" Shelly stepped out and asked.
"Because Lord Ivan is Lord Duren's cousin, he always hopes you can receive the best care," the visitor said.
"Then why did that bastard Ivan throw the lady and the miss out of the castle?" the guard captain said with wide eyes and anger.
Seeing that the two were about to argue again, Shelly sighed and looked at the newcomer, "Garrison, tell me the truth. Why exactly did Sir Ivan suddenly call us, mother and daughter, over?"
"Because Sir Irelia heard you were here and wanted to meet you."
"Irelia, the champion of this martial arts competition?!"
Shelly was somewhat surprised; she had attended the martial arts competition and was familiar with the outstanding lady who had dazzled everyone. The latter's name was now well-known in Bratis.
