The rear mountain of the Songshan Sect was actually a massive graveyard where too many of the sect's experts had fallen. The sect created this place to continue its legacy and strengthen itself. As these experts perished, they left behind traces of Divine Arts and insights into the "Tao". The disciples of the Songshan Sect who cultivated here would inevitably achieve more with less effort.
Guarding next to the dry well dungeon where Tian Boguang was imprisoned was Gu Bian, an elder-level expert of the Songshan Sect with the cultivation at the peak of the Late Martial Venerate. His combat power was tremendously strong and his experience in battle was incomparably rich, not someone the average person could handle.
