"Oh… Assistant Quinn," Lilith said with a small smile, picking up the phone, still very much enjoying the storm brewing on her human doll's face.
Gray's eyes narrowed slightly, lips pressing into a straight line as he watched her with the expression of someone who had just been replaced by a spreadsheet.
She shifted slightly under the blanket, her voice smooth. "Yes, I didn't come to the office today. Handling things from home."
