The pain of losing her, was clear,
Clearly shining through his eyes.
He said he was okay,
But he was clearly weaving lies.
He held onto her, till he couldn't,
Trying to convince her, but she wouldn't.
Patiently waiting by her side,
While someone else took her aside.
All he could do is just watch,
As she became someone's wife.
He could never confess his love,
Leaving it as a regret of his life.
