"Who are you really? Or what are you?" The emperor asked her and Acantha looked at him.
"What am I? I am me?" Acantha said as she raised her brows at the emperor.
"That's not what I meant," He said as he sighed while looking at her.
Acantha sighed as she knew what he meant by asking her who she was, but she won't answer it as she knew that, just like his wife, he won't believe her.
"I am who I am, Your Majesty." Acantha answered him and the emperor looked at her like he was trying to read her soul.
"I know who you are, but what I really want to know is what you are and who you really are," The emperor said as he looked at her.
"I know that you were also the one who was behind the duke's resurrection." He continued as he frowned at her.
"We received some letters here saying that the duke was dead, and then weeks passed and he was alive again?" he said as he started walking back and forth around the room again, while his hand was on his chin.
