"Those are big words from someone who seems pretty weak," Suiryu shouted up at Gray, the man still not looking the least bit interested in fighting him. "Gouketsu, you fight him."
"I need to fight the girl," Gouketsu countered, the other monster looking much more excited at the prospect of a fight compared to Suiryu.
"Fight them both," Suiryu shrugged lazily, smirking lightly as Gouketsu looked at him incredulously, "If you die, then I'll take them on, alright?"
Suiryu abruptly yanked his head back as a Ki-bullet shot past him, cutting through the air and creating a hole in the ground behind them.
"You're fighting me, jackass," Gray wasn't putt off by Suiryu's attitude, still grinning excitedly, "If you try to act all big and arrogant, you're going to end up without a head, y'know?"
I got a quest to complete. This guy's crazy if he thinks I'm letting him off the hook!
After shouting his 'kill me in 30 minutes or die' declaration at Suiryu, a notification had appeared in the corner of Gray's vision.

The rewards aren't insane or anything, but for just taking out one guy? They're pretty damn good!
Gray was starting to reap the benefits of not using his available points yet. The reward for taking down Shuiyu was even higher than the quest to take down four different monsters on Harro, which he assumed was because of the power difference between them. It didn't mention Gouketsu or the other monsters either, though Gray had no problem with fighting the entire gang of monsters.
"Those with no talent always speak big words." Suiryu's expression didn't change, the man just shrugging at Gray's words, "You are not strong. I know that because I am strong. Someone else deal with them."
He's starting to piss me off a bit.
Despite his thoughts, Gray's grin didn't drop. His body disappeared into seemingly thin air, reappearing next to Suiryu before the man even had a chance to blink with [Instant Transmission].
His fist lashed out, Ki coating it as it rocketed into Suiryu's face.

Suiryu was sent stumbling back with a grunt, but Gray didn't let up. He took a step forward, another Ki-enhanced punch following his first one. Gray silently used [Attack Boost] as his fist slammed toward Suiryu, but the man's power level wasn't for nothing. He managed to recover quickly, holding up his arms to guard against the punch and negate a large portion of the damage.

It's a damn good skill!
Suiryu still grunted from the impact, with Gray's [Attack Boost] causing the blocked attack to do even more than his direct hit.
I don't have enough MP to spam it yet, but if I use it at the right moments, I can stack on a lot of damage.
Gray swiftly backpedaled as Suiryu's fist lashed out far quicker than he expected, barely managing to avoid the monster's attack as he created space between them.
"Maybe you're not completely talentless," Suiryu hummed, his eyes lighting up a little, "Feed him a cell, Gouketsu."
Strong, but an idiot.
"I'm not eating that shit," Gray replied bluntly with a grin as Gouketsu reached into his pocket and pulled out another black ball.
"You will soon," Suiryu replied confidently. "I thought the same as you, but no matter how strong you think you are, the power of monsters is undeniable."
"Beat him until he understands," Gouketsu ordered the various monsters in the arena, who started to move threateningly toward Gray.
"You really don't know how to wait for backup, huh?" Celia's voice rang out dryly above Gray, and a blast of Ki slammed into one of the nearby monsters and caused them to step back with a hiss.
"I'm more than enough backup!" Caulifla justified, shooting down towards the arena as Gouketsu turned his attention to her.
"They're all weak anyway," Gray also justified, still grinning as he shouted up to Celia, "You guys can handle them, right?"
As Gray glanced up, he saw that most of his squad had started to arrive at the stadium-like area.
As long as they fight together, they won't have trouble.
As Gray glanced around at the other unnotable monsters in the arena, most of them weren't nearly strong enough to cause any real problems. Besides Choze, who was around 1 billion in power level, the only other two decently strong ones sat in the upper half of the hundred millions. Celia, Asuna, Cabba, and Saeko were more than enough for the three, and the combination of Raditz and Fasha, along with some support from the rest of the squad, could handle the rest. That wasn't even taking into account the two heroes, Bang and Zombieman, who could definitely hold their own as well.
"You're mine," Gray grinned widely, locking eyes with Suiryu again. This time, Suiryu at least looked a bit interested as he shifted into a lazy fighting stance.
What happened next could only be considered a brawl, as Caulifla made the first move by charging recklessly at Gouketsu. Saeko was next, lunging at Choze with her sword drawn, while Celia launched a Ki-blast and floated above to help her out. Fasha and Raditz each took one of the stronger monsters on their own, and the rest of Gray's squad, along with Cabba, Bang and Zombieman, charged into the arena as Asia and Fubuki floated in the air as support - along with Len, Yen, who wisely floated in the air spamming Ki blasts.
Ochaco, Raphtalia, and Tamari are smart. They're outmatched here, but they'll support the others without being in too much danger.
Meanwhile, Gray blasted forward at Suiryu with a Ki-coated fist.
Let's see how talented you really are, cocky bastard!
Gray quickly found out the answer was 'very,' as Suiryu fluidly dodged his attack and effortlessly ducked into his guard. Gray shifted his body to the side, barely dodging a point-blank punch at his gut, but couldn't dodge the follow-up attack.

Fuck, he's fast!
Gray was reminded that man was, in fact, almost double his power level as Suiryu's other fist blitzed forward. It slammed into Gray's side as he tried to dodge, causing him to hiss as he backpedaled lightly.
Luckily, [Reflect] negated most of the damage. Despite taking 60,000 points of damage, Suiryu barely seemed to even feel the blow, just glancing down at his pained gut with a raised eyebrow.
"Did I eat something bad?"
Seriously, did it hurt that little?!
"If you were a monster, you'd be a decent challenge," Suiryu chuckled, seeming not all that concerned about the excitedly grinning Saiyan in front of him.
"I don't need to be a monster to kick your ass," Gray just smirked, shaking off the blow as he shot forward again.
He's definitely a martial artist.
As his fist streamed toward Suiryu's face and the man seemed to flow around it, it was clear that he wasn't just a 'fighter.' Suiryu stepped forward, planting one foot as he abruptly did an entire 360. The air around him seemed to swirl into his body at the action, and his leg lashed out at the end and slammed into Gray's guard as he held up his hands.

Gray grunted from the impact, as despite blocking the kick it still did more damage than the previous punch had. He jerked his arm to the side, throwing Suiryu's leg off of him, and then stepped forward as he jabbed at the man's stomach.
Suiryu effortlessly dodged to the side, appearing to the side of Gray almost quicker than his eyes could process, and launched a fist at the side of his head. Gray tried to jerk his head out of the way, but the blow still skimmed off his cheek.

Gray barely shifted from the blow, but it was enough to throw off his balance. He stumbled slightly, and Suiryu took advantage of the opening, throwing a barrage of punches that broke the air as they pounded toward him. Gray grunted as he held up his guard, shifting his feet as it took everything he had to keep up with the onslaught.

Even the punches that Gray blocked still stung from he force, and Gray's eyes narrowed as he was put on the backfoot. The speed and precision of the attacks were too much, and he searched for an opportunity to counter. Each time he thought he saw an opening and tried to take it, Suiryu would seemingly speed up, punishing him for his attempt as Gray struggled to block a sudden blow.
He's fast, and he's good too.
The man had a genuine fighting style - one focused on overwhelming his opponent through barrages of quick punches and kicks, leaving open only the smallest of windows to counter, and then capitalizing on that attempted counter. Gray's grin grew wider with every move Suiryu made, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
But he's too much of a martial artist. He won't know how to deal with this, even if he is faster.
The man was a martial artist - not a fighter. He was used to a battle of exchanges - a dance of punches and kicks, where any blow not blocked or dodged was a negative.
I'll show him how a Saiyan fights!
Gray abruptly lowered his guard, stepping forward as Suiryu's fist slammed point-blank into his gut.

Gray ignored the flare of pain that came from the powerful blow, instead lunging forward with his arms outstretched. Another fist slammed into his gut, nearly causing spit to fly from Gray's mouth in the process.

Gray hissed lightly from the pain, but ignored it as he reached his goal. His arms lashed around Suiryu, roughly grabbing both sides of the man and gripping him tightly.
"What are you-" Suiryu started to mutter as Gray grappled him, but Gray cut him off with a loud grunt. He hoisted Suiryu up into the air, spinning around and launching the monster into the sky.
As Suiryu was flung upward, Gray disappeared, appearing above the man's body with [Instant Transmission]. His eyes narrowed as [Prediction] and [Cognitive Acceleration] activated, the combination making him able to barely react quickly enough as Suiryu spun around in the air with a kick directed at Gray's head.
Gray barely dodged the kick, leaning into the man's guard as he placed both of his hands on the man's chest. His palms glowed, and a burst of Ki slammed into Suiryu and sent him plummeting toward the ground.

Suiryu was slammed downward towards the floor of the area, but he maneuvered his body mid-air to lean out of the way of the Ki-beams shoving him downward and landed on his feet. However, he wasn't given a moment of reprieve as Gray appeared next to him on the ground, his hand shooting out and gripping Suiryu's thick neck as his Ki-coated fist slammed into the man's unprepared gut.

A glob of spit flew from Suiryu's mouth as he hunched over lightly, and Gray didn't let up. He shifted his fist against Suiryu's gut into a palm, crouching lightly as he grunted. He pumped all his strength into his arms, shifting his body weight as he hoisted Suiryu up by his neck and waist.
He shifted his weight again, fully pulling Suiryu off the ground and then over his head - slamming him back towards the ground in a Ki-enhanced choke-slam.
Suiryu's skill was put on display as he recovered quickly, his hand shooting up and grabbing Gray's grip on his neck before he hit the ground. He ripped Gray's hand off his neck, then reached behind him as his hand stopped his body from slamming into the floor.
Suiryu shifted in the air, looking almost like a break dancer as his leg shot upward. Gray was already leaning over from attempting to choke-slam him, and as a result couldn't dodge or block as Suiryu's leg slammed into his side and sent him stumbling.

Gray grunted, his feet digging into the ground as he stabilized himself. In the time it took him to regain his balance, Suiryu was back on his feet again. The man shifted into a genuine fighting stance, his lips twitching up slightly.
"I don't know how you're moving so quickly… you're not bad," Suiryu grinned, reaching up and tapping the small burn mark on his chest with interest, "I'm eager to fight you again once you're a monster."
"Already assuming you'll win? You're pretty cocky," Gray matched his grin, shifting back into his own fighting stance, "That's coming from a cocky Saiyan, too."
But I'm glad to finally have a good fight!
Suiryu had half an hour to kill Gray, but…
That means I get half an hour to enjoy this fight!
