In the vast space of another world, Brit is sitting on the dark ground. After thinking about it, he can't help but laugh.
"I'm afraid the Plague Doctor will be very confused." Brit can imagine the little shocked look in the Plague Doctor's eyes when he suddenly disappears. It must be very interesting.
Of course, no matter how interesting it is, Brit is not going to go back and take a look. He has made up his mind to stay here for at least twenty minutes. Otherwise, when he goes back and finds that the Plague Doctor is watching over him, how can he repay him?
Although this possibility is unlikely, after all, the Plague Doctor does not understand the nature of the masks, so it's best to stay hidden, just in case. You can never go wrong by being careful.
"Hey, I don't know where the others are now, or what's going on..." Brit shook his head and sighed.
Just then, he noticed some dark humanoid figures approaching on the ground in the distance. Brit's eyes widened immediately, and he suppressed the pain in his knee to stand up.
This is not the first time he has come to this world. He knows there are a lot of strange entities with many mouths and eyes. These entities are hostile, and it is best not to be detected by them.
Brit stifled the pain in his knees and quickly ran in the opposite direction. Finally, he found a black boulder with a groove on the side, just large enough to hide in.
However, before hiding in, Brit observed the area again, confirming that there were no passages in the groove before he hid in with confidence. He didn't want to hide in a monster's lair.

Not long ago...
Vale, Kiwo, and RT quickly ran to the elevator on the other side of the area. They opened the elevator and hurried inside. When they got out again, they felt slightly relieved.
"Brit is still in the area. What should we do? Is there any way to save Brit?" Kiwo said anxiously.
The expressions on Vale's and RT's faces darkened.
"It can't be helped. I can only pray that the ring works. If it doesn't, Brit has most likely quit the game." Vale shook his head and sighed.
RT and Kiwo understood the gravity of the situation; they each sighed and fell silent. After several seconds of quiet, Vale said, "We have to leave; that doctor will probably catch up!"
Kiwo and RT paused and finally nodded helplessly. Brit was likely more ill-fated than fortunate. They couldn't rush in; otherwise, all team members would be in danger, and the game would be over.
After deciding to leave, the three of them examined their surroundings. They found that this was no longer the passage they had used to enter the SCP-049 containment area.
There was a small hall. If you took a few steps to the left, you would enter a new passage. This was normal; after all, they had come out of a different elevator in the area. They were going to another place.
When they reached the new passage, Vale looked around and noticed metal doors on both sides. However, the metal door on the left required a fingerprint to unlock.
"It's a fingerprint lock!" Kiwo exclaimed in surprise.
RT touched his waist and found that the Severed Arm he had recovered from the Light Containment Area was still there. A total of two Severed Arms had been found in the Light Containment Area, one with Brit and the other one with RT.
At this moment, the Severed Arm could indeed be useful. RT took off the Severed Arm and pointed its finger at the fingerprint lock on the left metal door. After a "beep," the metal door opened.
"It opened!" RT exclaimed, excited. Sure enough, the Severed Arm found in the Light Containment Area had to be useful.
However, after opening the metal door, the three of them were stunned. They saw that behind the golden door was the passage they had used to enter the SCP-049 containment area. Deep in the passage, there was also an elevator, the same elevator they had taken to enter the area.
"I see!" Kiwo looked at it curiously for a few seconds before suddenly realizing, "The two elevators in the Plague Doctor's area are not far apart but are separated by a door. And since the Severed Arm can open that door, doesn't that mean players can pass through here without entering the area?"
When Kiwo said this, she frowned again. "But if a player doesn't enter the area, how can they get the Level 4 keycard?"
RT, hearing this, guessed, "It must be that after obtaining the Level 4 keycard, the player may still take the original elevator, return to the starting point, and then think that after finishing this area, they can either enter the area again or use a Severed Arm to open the door. Or perhaps the Level 4 keycard is located elsewhere..."
"Of course, the biggest possibility is that players are wandering around the map. They may pass by here multiple times. If they have a Severed Arm, they don't need to enter the area repeatedly; it can be considered as enriching the gameplay. After all, the map of this game is too large. I wouldn't be able to go back the same way to find the shelter of that scary old man..."
RT shook his head, feeling quite emotional. Suddenly, Vale let out a curse, causing Kiwo and RT to look at him in surprise.
The corner of Vale's mouth twitched as he helplessly said, "I can't even mention 'The Old Man.' I can't find the Level 4 keycard..."
As soon as Vale said this, Kiwo and RT immediately reacted, their faces suddenly turned pale.
"The keycard is in Brit's hands!"
"Oh no."
The three of them exchanged worried glances, realizing that after working hard for so long, the critical Level 4 keycard had been left behind.
"What should we do now? Should we still go for the Level 4 keycard?" Kiwo asked bitterly.
Vale and RT looked at each other, both equally at a loss. If they wanted to retrieve a Level 4 keycard, they would have to re-enter the area. Since the Level 4 keycard was in Brit's possession, even if Brit sacrificed himself, the keycard would not disappear.
But re-entering the area meant they might face the Plague Doctor, along with the possibility of encountering Brit, who had undergone an operation at the hands of the Plague Doctor. If Brit had already become a zombie, none of the three wanted to confront him.
After discussing for a while, Vale finally said, "Let me go in and take a look. If I can't get out, you two should leave and see if you can find a Level 4 keycard in other locations."
Kiwo and RT thought about it and could only nod reluctantly. This seemed to be the best course of action for the moment. However, just as the three of them were about to act, they heard the elevator they had just used make a starting sound.
