Hey everyone,
This notice was written for my Patreon page, specifically after the Egghead arc, to announce that I am stopping the fic until the Elbaf arc ends in the manga. I will steadily update chapters on this platform out of respect for my patrons who subscribed to read in advance. I will not leave any chapter locked, but will still publish them on a schedule. I may continue after Elbaf depending on my living situation. If you are wondering, the ending is not abrupt. The crew takes a break after Egghead, just as I am taking a break now.
From the last free chapter to the last Patreon chapter, there are currently 71 chapters available. Patreon now offers 71 advance chapters, and that number will go down by one each day as I steadily release them to the public.
The message:
I am ending the fic here.
Not because I lost love for the story. Not because I run out of ideas. There is still so much I wanted to do. Elbaf was right around the corner, and there were fights and moments I was really looking forward to writing. But the truth is life is a mess right now.
I don't even have my own laptop anymore. I been borrowing where I can, or going to cyber cafes just to write, edit, and post chapters. And that is not sustainable. It is exhausting, and honestly, it is not fair. Not to me and not to you, especially those of you who supported me on Patreon, waiting patiently for chapters I can't consistently deliver.
I hate that. I really do.
I want to take a second to thank every single one of you readers, commenters, and especially my patrons.
To my patrons, I can't thank you enough. Your support meant more than you know. I wish I could kept up the pace and kept giving you the story you deserved, but I' come to accept that I just can't do that right now.
Maybe, maybe, I will pick it back up someday. Maybe after Elbaf finishes in the manga, I will get the fire again, get my shit together, and come back. Because I really do love this story. I love what I got to do with Coby. I love the version of the crew.
But for now, I need to step away. Thank you, all of you, for reading.
Take care of yourselves.
