"Unwilling to surrender, do you realize what you're doing?"
Balola furiously spoke to the people atop the fortress opposite to him, although the people there seemed afraid, yet they still showed no response. After a lengthy pause, Balola withdrew back into the ranks of his troops.
"Marquis Gaoer, give the order to attack," Balola said to his deputy.
In fact, the actual commander of the army was Marquis Gaoer. Balola was strong personally and skilled in charging into battle, but he was quite naive when it came to commanding troops, and his innate talent was somewhat lacking.
Balola was very aware of his own abilities, and thus did not insist on commanding the army himself.
This suited Marquis Gaoer quite well, as nobody liked to be commanded by a novice.
Subsequently, the army began to move in an orderly fashion.
However, before they even reached the walls of the fortress, the soldiers atop it descended into chaos on their own.
