A band of river pirates hid among the reeds by the riverbank, as Fizz chewed on dried loach and enviously gazed toward the concealed encampment in the distance—Fizz was well aware that it was the temporary camp of the 'Red Knights', which not only harbored many infamous river pirates but also an abundance of roasted meat and wine.
"I wonder if they spread honey on that roast meat?"
As Fizz spoke, he couldn't help but swallow his saliva.
Then, a chorus of swallowing sounds arose around him.
Many of the river pirates were crazily gulping down water while looking at the half-eaten piece of dried loach in Fizz's mouth, hoping the fullness brought by the water would temporarily make them forget their hunger.
This scene made the leader of the river pirates, Nisimi, frown.
Subconsciously, Nisimi wanted to scold his subordinates.
But then, the pirate leader immediately shut his mouth.
He thought about his current situation.
