Chen Yang went straight to bed, and early the next morning, Niu Ming was already at his door.
Niu Ming came very early; Chen Yang hadn't even started making breakfast.
"Niu Ming, why'd you come so early? I haven't eaten breakfast yet, and the house isn't cleaned up," Chen Yang said with a smile.
Niu Ming chuckled. "I thought I shouldn't keep you waiting, so I came a bit earlier. You haven't eaten yet? I'll cook for you, Yang Zi. You go take care of your things; the sooner we finish, the sooner we can head out."
"Haha, that works. Everything's in the kitchen; just throw together a bowl of noodles."
Since Niu Ming was offering to help, Chen Yang didn't turn him down—it'd speed things up for sure.
"Alright, you go handle your stuff. I'll make the noodles."
Grinning, Niu Ming went off to the kitchen to handle breakfast, while Chen Yang headed to the backyard to fertilize and water the herb field.
